Jimmy Kimmel jokingly criticized President Trump on Tuesday after a video surfaced showing the President looking sleepy during a White House cabinet meeting. The video showed Trump appearing to have trouble staying awake while his staff complimented his work.
During his show, Kimmel questioned if Trump appeared tired, then playfully pointed out the former president’s frequent late-night activity on Truth Social. He joked that Trump must be exhausted from staying up all night posting, noting Trump had shared over 160 posts in one night. Kimmel then humorously wondered how long someone would need to be on the toilet to post that much, and what he could be eating to cause such activity.
Kimmel continued his monologue with a joke about Trump’s cabinet. He sarcastically described Trump’s advisors as a group of loyalists who gathered to praise him, saying, “I guess his little thumbs gave out and he came down the hall for another all-star cabinet meeting — Trump’s hand-picked orange-nosers gathered to pay tribute to dear leader and to suckle upon his ample teat.”

Kimmel then jokingly reviewed people in Trump’s circle, pointing out the issues some of them have faced. He quipped, “We have RFK Jr., who’s caught up in a scandal involving a reporter much younger than him. Our ‘Secretary of War’ is allegedly harming innocent people and trying to blame his subordinate. The FBI director is supposedly using a private jet for personal trips with his girlfriend, and even put off a murder investigation until he could find an FBI jacket that fit him.”
He ended the jokes with a final observation: “They have better quality cabinets at IKEA.”
