‘Lupin the IIIRD: The Immortal Bloodline’ Is Coming to North American Theaters for 3-Night Event – Check Out The Trailer

The newest Lupin III movie, Lupin the IIIRD: The Immortal Bloodline, will be shown in North American cinemas early next year.

As a huge film fan, I’m thrilled to share that this movie is getting a special three-night showing from January 4th to 6th, 2026! They’re really catering to everyone – you can watch it with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles, or if you prefer, there’s an English-dubbed version too. It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience it!

Directed by Takeshi Koike and written by Yūya Takahashi, this film concludes the Lupin the IIIrd series. It draws inspiration from the original Lupin III movie, The Mystery of Mamo, but tells a brand new story set within the established world of Koike’s Lupin the IIIrd.

The movie boasts a talented voice cast, with Kanichi Kurita voicing Lupin the Third, Akio Ōtsuka as Daisuke Jigen, Daisuke Namikawa as Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko Mine, and Koichi Yamadera as Inspector Zenigata. Other voice actors include Kataoka Ainosuke VI, Aoi Morikawa, Mogura Suzuki, and Katamari Mizukawa.

Lupin the IIIRD: The Immortal Bloodline is a new, traditionally animated Lupin film. It’s the first of its kind in three decades, following 1996’s Dead or Alive. The project was first announced at the end of 2024, and the official title and release date were revealed in April.

Earlier this year, fans enjoyed a prequel movie called Lupin the IIIrd: Zenigata and the Two Lupins, which became available on Japanese streaming services on June 20th. The theme song, “THE IIIRD Eye,” is by the well-known rock band B’z.

Fans old and new in North America can now enjoy the newest Lupin movie in theaters! It keeps the series’ classic animation and exciting, action-packed stories that everyone loves.
