Hayley Williams is making it clear what kind of environment she wants for her upcoming solo tour.
Before starting her tour supporting her new album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, Paramore’s Hayley Williams made it clear who she wants at her shows. In an interview with Clash magazine, she explained that she wants her concerts to be safe and welcoming for everyone.
Williams stated they don’t want anyone with racist or sexist views near them, and they also don’t want people who believe transgender people are a problem.
She explained that while she says “all are welcome,” she only means people who genuinely support inclusivity. In other words, if someone doesn’t believe everyone should be included, they aren’t welcome.
Robyn Williams will kick off her 2026 solo tour in Atlanta on March 27th, with the final performance taking place in Los Angeles on May 15th. The tour will feature songs from her newest album and represents an exciting new phase in her career.
Williams has consistently used her platform to address social issues. For example, in 2023, she spoke out against laws in Tennessee that negatively impacted LGBTQ+ communities.
During Paramore’s performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in 2024, Hayley Williams voiced her opposition to the Project 2025 initiative, highlighting concerns about its potential impact on reproductive rights, immigration policies, and diversity programs. She continues to advocate for these issues in her individual work as well. In an October interview on The New York Times’ Popcast podcast, Williams stated she is always prepared to speak out against racial injustice, emphasizing the strong link between racial equality, LGBTQIA+ rights, and overall social justice.
