Henry Cavill Is Back as Clark Kent in New Zack Snyder Photo

Zack Snyder recently posted a cozy behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram featuring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. He playfully captioned the image as if it were taken by Clark Kent himself.

This new image feels more personal and subtle than the recent, dramatic hints he’s been sharing, but fans quickly understood it as another nod to the original Justice League team envisioned by Snyder.

It also comes with Thanksgiving.

Snyder Continues His DC Posting Streak

The recent picture of Clark and Lois follows months of Zack Snyder sharing images of DC characters, including Batman (played by Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Mera (Amber Heard), Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello), and the Joker (Jared Leto).

Zack Snyder hasn’t shared this much older artwork from his DC films in a long time, and definitely not all at once. Fans think this is intentional, particularly with rumors circulating that his vision for DC—often called the ‘SnyderVerse’—might be continued by the new owners after Warner Bros. Discovery is sold.

Fans Interpret the Post as Another Signal

The picture – Clark and Lois looking relaxed on a couch – really captures the heart of Zack Snyder’s vision for DC. By sharing it now, many fans believe Snyder is showing he still wants to continue his Superman story with Henry Cavill and Amy Adams as the main characters.

Given the rumors that Saudi Arabia is supporting a revival of Zack Snyder’s DC films, Warner Bros. Discovery’s potential sale, and Snyder’s continued sharing of photos with his Justice League actors, the recent picture of Clark Kent and Lois Lane seems very intentional.
