As a total movie and TV buff, I’m always looking for what to watch next! So, I’ve put together ten recommendations from the latest releases and current hits on Paramount+. I’m starting with the newest stuff hitting the platform, then moving on to some great originals and those classic films and shows that are perfect for a cozy weekend binge.
‘Crutch’ (2025– )

The new comedy series centers around Francois “Frank” Crutchfield, a widower in Harlem whose peaceful life is turned upside down when his grown children and grandchildren move back home. This throws his life – and his flooring business – into chaos. Starring Tracy Morgan, and with Cedric the Entertainer as an executive producer, the show explores the challenges and humor of multigenerational families, the struggles of running a small business, and everyday neighborhood life. You can start streaming it on Paramount+ the week of November 3rd.
‘Dexter: Resurrection’ (2025– )

Dexter Morgan is back in a new series after waking up from a coma and following his son to New York City. Michael C. Hall reprises his role, and the show features a new cast, including Uma Thurman. The story continues to explore themes of identity, family, and what’s right and wrong. You can watch it on Paramount+, where it premiered in July with new episodes being released regularly.
‘Rubble & Crew’ (2023– )

This animated series, part of the ‘PAW Patrol’ world, follows Rubble the bulldog and his family as they fix things around their town, Builder Cove. The show focuses on working together, finding solutions to problems, and building projects that encourage an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Jam Filled Toronto animated the series, and new episodes are now available on Paramount+, featuring the voices of Luxton Handspiker, Lucien Duncan Reid, and Shazdeh Kapadia.
‘Frasier’ (2023– )

The new series brings back Dr. Frasier Crane, now living in Boston with a fresh career and a stronger commitment to being a father. Each episode combines stories from his work life and family, all delivered with the same clever humor as the original show. Starring Kelsey Grammer, alongside a new cast, it’s one of the many original comedies available on Paramount+.
‘Criminal Minds’ (2005– )

You can stream the original ‘Criminal Minds’ series, plus its new continuation, ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution,’ on Paramount+. The show follows a team of FBI profilers who analyze criminals’ behavior and work with other agencies to catch them. Familiar faces like Joe Mantegna and Paget Brewster are back for the revival, which continues the case-of-the-week format while also introducing more complex, ongoing storylines.
‘NCIS’ (2003– )

This popular crime drama follows a team in Washington, D.C. who investigate crimes involving the Navy and Marine Corps. You can watch many past seasons on Paramount+, and new episodes continue the show’s blend of scientific investigation, questioning of suspects, and personal stories. It’s still one of Paramount+’s most important shows, and features long-time cast members like Sean Murray, with the team’s relationships changing over time.
‘South Park’ (1997– )

You can find many seasons and special episodes of a popular animated series on Paramount+. Known for its clever and timely humor, the show follows the adventures of four boys in Colorado, often incorporating current events into its stories. New specials are regularly added to the existing collection, and it’s still one of the most popular shows on the platform this year.
‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ (1999– )

SpongeBob SquarePants is a classic cartoon with tons of episodes about life in Bikini Bottom, following SpongeBob, Patrick, and their friends. It’s known for its silly humor, clever jokes, and a cast of funny characters, making it a great choice for family viewing. You can find many seasons and related shows on Paramount+. Because each episode tells a complete story, it’s easy to start watching at any point!
‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ (1996–2005)

You can watch every episode of this classic sitcom on Paramount+, following sportswriter Ray Barone and his funny, chaotic family. The show focuses on everyday mishaps, sibling squabbles, and the humorous challenges of dealing with in-laws. It’s a great choice for a familiar and comforting re-watch, and you can stream episodes in order or pick your favorites.
‘The King of Queens’ (1998–2007)

This funny show follows delivery driver Doug Heffernan, his wife Carrie, and Carrie’s dad Arthur as they navigate life living together. You can watch the entire series on Paramount+, filled with humor from Doug’s job, interactions with their neighbors, and the challenges of family life. Each episode uses relatable, everyday situations to create quick, laugh-out-loud moments, making it a great, easy watch for when you want something light and entertaining.
