Spencer Lofranco is an actor from Toronto who worked on films between 2013 and 2018. He appeared in the war movie Unbroken (2014), with Angelina Jolie, and played John Travolta’s son in Gotti (2018), a film about the life of mob boss John Gotti.

I’ve always been fascinated by actors and their journeys, and Spencer’s is a cool one. He actually decided he wanted to pursue acting when he was just 17, even though his dad was hoping he’d become a hockey player or a lawyer! He got some training at the New York Film Academy, and then landed a role in ‘Jamesy Boy’ back in 2014. Before that, he had a small part in ‘At Middleton’ in 2013, and then he kept building his resume with films like ‘Dixieland,’ ‘Home,’ and ‘King Cobra’ in the following years.

In a 2014 interview with Interview magazine, Spencer reminisced about his younger days, saying, “I used to have a huge crush on Angelina Jolie. And now I’m actually going to be working with her on a movie – it’s unbelievable! When I tell people, they think I’m joking.”

The film world is deeply saddened by the unexpected death of Spencer Lofranco. He was a talented actor with a bright future and will be remembered for his captivating performances.
