Following his recent, dramatic Rorschach image hinting at disaster, fans believe Zack Snyder is indicating significant changes are on the way.
Snyder’s Rorschach Post Hit the Same Moment WBD Bids Were Due
The timing of Snyder’s post felt deliberate. He shared an image from Watchmen – Rorschach with the “End Is Nigh” sign – right around the time bids for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) were being submitted. It appears Snyder is signaling that he believes the current leadership at WBD is coming to an end.
The image wasn’t a coincidence. It appeared just as Saudi Arabia was meeting with President Trump, revealing a $600 billion investment plan, and preparing to support a potential acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by either Paramount or Comcast.
The Amazon Image Sparks Wonder Woman Talk
After sharing a Rorschach image, Snyder posted a picture of himself boating on the Amazon River. Fans quickly noticed this likely referenced Wonder Woman, as Snyder often subtly hints at his DC projects through visuals, and the Amazon River image fits that pattern.
If a deal funded by Saudi Arabia is finalized – and current reports suggest they’re leading the negotiations – it’s likely Zack Snyder would return to lead a new series of DC films, including his original vision for a Wonder Woman movie. Sources say Gal Gadot is willing to reprise her role.
Snyder “Warming Up”?
The second new picture depicts Snyder sitting near a fire with his hands extended. Fans interpret this as a sign that he’s getting ready for a new project – possibly a new universe or continuation of his previous work. It seems Zack is starting something new.
Reports suggest that if Warner Bros. Discovery is sold with investment from Saudi Arabia, Zack Snyder’s DC universe will likely be revived. The Saudis have already worked with Snyder on the UFC movie Brawler and reportedly want him to build a large, connected DC universe that can compete with Marvel’s major cinematic events.

With hints like the inkblot test, the Amazon rainforest, and a cozy campfire scene, Snyder is definitely trying to tell us something. He’s aware the offers are on the table, the company’s leadership is changing, and that a potential sale could bring him back to working on the DC stories he created.

According to sources familiar with the deal, if the Saudi group successfully acquires Warner Bros. Discovery, the intention is for Zack Snyder to lead the future of DC films, possibly with Christopher Nolan serving in an advisory role.
