Jimmy Kimmel made fun of Donald Trump in a recent comedy routine, following the president’s noticeable frustration with reporters who were asking him tough questions.
Following votes in both the House and Senate to release documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel joked that Donald Trump was visibly upset. He said, “Trump is really not happy right now. He gets extremely agitated whenever he’s questioned about Jeffrey Epstein.”
During his show, Kimmel played a clip that went viral of Trump on Air Force One telling a female reporter to “Quiet, piggy.” Kimmel pointed out that this incident received surprisingly little attention. He then joked that such behavior from a man towards a female coworker in a workplace harassment training video – or from an airline pilot – would be considered completely unacceptable.
Jimmy Kimmel also highlighted how upset Donald Trump seemed when ABC News reporter Mary Bruce questioned him about the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist. This happened while Trump was meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Bruce questioned Trump about the files related to Epstein. Trump responded by calling the reporter “terrible” and accusing her company of being a major source of false information. He suggested ABC News could lose its broadcasting license due to what he claimed was consistently “fake and wrong” reporting, and called on the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission to investigate.
Trump appeared to be referencing FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, who had previously dealt with a suspension related to Kimmel back in September. Kimmel responded with a pointed remark, implying that Trump’s previous dealings with the FCC weren’t successful.
