In Where Winds Meet, Inner Arts significantly impact your strength. They’re special abilities that offer various benefits, like a protective shield when your health is low or reduced stamina use for certain actions. For example, the Sword Horizon Inner Art is unique to the Strategic Sword fighting style. It unlocks new combos and heavy attacks, giving you more options to inflict damage.
Sword Horizon, like other skills in Where Winds Meet, can be difficult to learn. Beyond just finding it, you’ll need a lot of in-game currency to unlock it.
Where to Find Sword Horizon Inner Art in Where Winds Meet
To learn this Inner Art, you’ll need to find some skill books. You can find them at Ghostlight Market, which is located right below the city of Kaifeng. The good news is, you don’t have to unlock Kaifeng itself to reach the market.
Okay, so I found a way to get to Ghostlight Market super early without finishing the main story! All you have to do is start the ‘Bounty Trouble’ quest in Riverside Station. It’s a little village on the west side of Qinghe, and when you get there, look for an old man and some villagers hanging around a bounty board. Accept the quest, and it actually leads you right to Ghostlight Market as part of something called ‘March of the Dead’. Once you’re there, just walk into the main street and follow the path to the right until you spot a Boundary Stone – you can’t miss it!
However, there’s a catch: the Ghostlight Market is closed during the March of the Dead event and becomes filled with fog and spirits. Luckily, completing this quest isn’t necessary to get Sword Horizon. Simply advance the in-game time using the Wait function. You can find this function by pressing Escape or Start and clicking the Clock button on the right side of the screen. Changing the time to any hour except the Mao hour will make the market accessible.
Return to Ghostlight Market using the Boundary Stone, and then find Horse Face near the entrance. He’ll give you a Ghost Rat Mask, so make sure to take it – you’ll need it later. Put on the mask and walk straight down the street. Continue until you see another set of stone stairs, and you’ll find an antique bookstore on your left. Go inside and talk to the owner, Ni Laoshan, who is sitting on the ceiling.

Check out Ni Laoshan’s shop and purchase all of his ‘Unknown Old Books’ – it will cost 375,000 Coins. Once you have the books, use them to obtain all ten tomes required for learning the Sword Horizon Inner Art.
Need some extra funds? You can purchase Strings of Coins at the Season Shop. Just open your bag, navigate to the Money Bag tab, and choose your Coins to access the shop.
