Sadie Sink, known for her work on stage and in popular shows, is joining the cast of the upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday. According to Deadline, the 23-year-old actress will begin filming in London soon. The highly anticipated film is scheduled for release late next year.
After Stranger Things, here’s what Sadie Sink is doing next
Sources suggest Sadie Sink is very likely to appear in the next Avengers movie, currently known as Avengers: Doomsday. A producer recently revealed this while speaking with James Bierman at DEADLINE. Although her role in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day film (scheduled for release on July 31st) remains unknown, the producer confirmed Sink will join the Avengers cast when filming begins in London in late 2026. The Hollywood Reporter previously reported principal photography for the Avengers film would start in the summer of 2026.
The new Robert Downey Jr. movie is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026, as part of the sixth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The release date was moved from an earlier date of May 1, 2026.
The actress is currently busy with two projects: filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will continue until mid-December, and a press tour for the fifth season of Stranger Things, where she plays Max Mayfield. While her role in the new Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland hasn’t been revealed, people are excited to see what she’ll do.
I’m so excited to share some fantastic casting news! A brilliant actress will be taking on the iconic role of Juliet in Robert Icke’s production of Romeo & Juliet. And get this – she’ll be sharing the stage with Noah Jupe, who you probably know from A Quiet Place, as her Romeo. It’s going to be a truly special take on this classic love story!
