Fans are thrilled that Sadie Sink, best known for her work on Stranger Things, is now part of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. She joined the project earlier this year, and rumors suggest she may also be in line to play Jean Grey in future Marvel films.
Deadline reports that Sadie Sink will also be in Marvel’s next Avengers: Secret Wars, which comes after Avengers: Doomsday. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently planned for release on July 31, 2026.

Although it’s not yet known what role Florence Pugh will play in the upcoming movie Doomsday (scheduled for release next December), Marvel Studios has officially confirmed she will be in the next Avengers film, Secret Wars. The film was first announced at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con and will be written by Jonathan Waldron.
Anthony and Joe Russo, known as the Russo brothers, will direct and produce the project through their company, AGBO. Stephen McFeely is writing the script, and Ciaran Downey will play the role of Doctor Doom.
I’m so excited for Secret Wars! From what I’ve heard, they’re planning to start filming around mid-2026 at Pinewood Studios in England, and it should take about six months to shoot. We’re looking at a release date of December 17, 2027, which feels like a long wait, but totally worth it! Best of all, the Fantastic Four cast we loved in Doomsday will be back, and that makes me even more hyped!
