Full Burst RPG —BrownDust2.
We’re planning some scheduled maintenance and updates on November 19th (UTC). See below for more information.
We’ll be performing maintenance from 11:50 PM to 3:10 AM UTC on November 19th-20th. During this time (approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes), you won’t be able to access the game. More details will follow.
1. Story Pack 19 “Forgotten War” Update
– Story Pack 19, “Forgotten War” will be added.
Okay, so Eda sent me and my friends on this crazy journey to a totally unknown island! She explained everything – apparently, the world is in danger because of this island’s history. Centuries ago, there was a war with another world, and this island is where the doorway to it is hidden. This guy named Storas is trying to break the magical seal that’s keeping that doorway closed, and if he succeeds… well, it’s going to be a disaster! Basically, we’re now chasing after Storas to try and stop him and save the world. It’s a lot, but we have to try!
You’ll unlock Story Pack 19 after finishing Story Pack 18, “Salvation.” Keep in mind that the skills of characters who temporarily join you during this pack might be different from those of your regular companions when they become officially available.
The ‘Forgotten War’ story pack now features fully voiced Korean dialogue for its main quests. While full Japanese voice acting was planned, it will be released in a future update. We’ll share an official announcement with the release date as soon as it’s confirmed.
2. Season Event “Crossroads” Update
The “Crossroads” seasonal event will be updated soon! It will be available after the maintenance on November 19th and will run until the maintenance on December 3rd. You can find the event by tapping the “Season Event” icon on the right side of the main menu. During the Crossroads event, you can enjoy several activities: the Event Story, Normal Battles, Challenge Battles, Fiend Hunter, and the Event Shop. You’ll earn event currency by participating in these activities, which you can then use to purchase items in the Event Shop.

1) Crossroads Season Event Story
Things are kinda heavy right now. Me and Gray are back to our usual routines, but we’re both stuck in our heads. I keep thinking about that empty throne, and Schera’s worried about the Tera inside her – it’s like, what do we even do now? The weird thing is, the Tera’s getting stronger in Schera, and it’s messing with her magic. Just when things couldn’t get more complicated, Celia shows up…
Episodes become available to watch one after another. Some will unlock automatically after a certain amount of time has passed.
This guide explains the Crossroads Season Event battles. There are two types of battles: normal battles, which are easier, and challenging battles that require more planning and a stronger team.
When you select a battle, you’ll see the recommended power level, your current power, the objectives for the battle, and the rewards you can earn. You can also view information about the monsters you’ll face.
Battles cost Action Points (AP) to enter. You receive free AP daily, and you can purchase more with Dias in the event shop. Winning a battle uses 1 AP, but you don’t lose AP if you lose or give up.
If you complete all the challenges for a stage, you can use the ‘Quick Battle’ feature to automatically earn the rewards. After winning a battle, you can replay it repeatedly to earn more rewards with each victory.
A new event, Fiend Hunter, is starting! You can prepare to hunt the Basilisk (Water) starting after the November 19th maintenance. The preparation phase lasts until November 26th at 11:59 PM UTC. The actual hunting event runs from November 27th at 12:00 AM UTC to December 3rd at 2:59 PM UTC. Access the event by tapping the ‘Fiend Hunter’ button on the Season Event screen.
Basilisk(Water)
Known by terrifying names like King of Serpents and Lord of Venom, the Basilisk is an incredibly dangerous creature. Every part of it, from its fangs to its scales, is poisonous. Its gaze alone can turn living beings to stone, striking fear into anyone who hears of it. There’s no escaping the Basilisk except through death, and the warnings about it are tragically true – a sign of the certain destruction it brings.
– To enter the Season Event, tap ‘Fiend Hunter’ at the bottom of the UI.
You can use special event currency earned through gameplay to buy items in the Event Shop. Here are some of the main things you can purchase:
Any Paid AP you buy from the Event Shop will be reset when the Season Event finishes, so be sure to use it all beforehand. The Event Shop will stay open for two weeks after the Crossroads season ends, giving you time to spend any leftover event currency on items.
The Magic for Wishes event shop will stay open for two weeks after the event finishes. You can continue to use any leftover event currency to get rewards during this time.
During seasonal events, owning the special costume for that event will give you extra event currency when you participate in related activities. For the event running from November 19th to December 3rd, the eligible costumes are:

If you have more than one costume that gives you extra event rewards, those rewards will be added together and you’ll receive a combined amount based on how many costumes you own.
3. Story Pack 15 – 18 Renewal
We’re updating some sections within Story Packs 15 through 18. These updates will include short video clips (PV) added to key moments in the main story.
This update is quite large, so we suggest downloading it using Wi-Fi. Currently, the new story content only has Korean voiceovers. We plan to add Japanese voiceovers in a future update, but it’s taking a bit longer than expected.
4. Story Menu Improvements
The game now includes a ‘Chronicle’ feature that lets you explore BrownDust2’s settings as they changed over time. You can choose to view the Chronicle by year or organized by Story Pack. The ‘Timeline’ tab within the Chronicle shows you the order of each Story Pack and the seasonal events associated with them.
Hey, so the game now has a Glossary! It’s super handy – I can finally look up what all the weird terms in BrownDust2 actually mean. There’s even a search button with a magnifying glass at the top, which makes finding stuff way faster. No more guessing!
Here’s what’s new for others:
You can now preview skill cutscenes for costumes directly from their information screens. You’ll find a button for this at the top-right of the costume details (accessible through the Companion or Collection tabs).
If you don’t own a character, the skill cutscene preview will appear dimmed.
Costume profiles now show the world the costume is associated with.
The Pack Collection screen’s guidebook now includes the world and year each pack originated from.
We’ve updated the Story Menu guidebook and added explanations for the Chronicle and Glossary.
The Back button in the Story Menu now returns you to the previous screen, not the Home screen.
5. Others
The wings featured in the animated preview of Faithful Wings Olivier, shown during the November livestream, are being updated.
In the still image used when tapping on Olivier, his wings originally appeared black. However, to match the look of his wings in the special skill animation, we’ve updated the image so that his wings are now white. This change affects the version of Olivier from Story Pack 13: Song of Snow Pack. The original black wings were meant to suggest a dark influence, but we prioritized visual consistency across all animations.
■ Pickup and New Character Information
You can pick up the Faithful Wings Olivier Costume and Tyrfing, Olivier’s exclusive gear, starting after the maintenance on November 19th and before the maintenance on December 3rd.

Please be aware that the information above is subject to change with updates. For comprehensive stats and details, refer to the Collection menu within the game. The Faithful Wings Olivier Costume will become available in the Powder of Hope shop following the maintenance on December 3rd. You can find and recruit the Faithful Wings Olivier Costume as a companion in the Safe Zone of Story Pack 18 using a 5-star R. Contract. To unlock companion recruitment, you must first complete the Main Quest on Normal difficulty.
2) Tyrfing : After November 19th maintenance – before December 4th maintenance

This information applies to when you first obtain the UR-grade Tyrfing. For complete details about its stats and abilities, please refer to the Collection section within the game.
The New Hire Nebris Costume and Moon Shadow gear will be available for pickup. You can get the New Hire Nebris Costume from November 27th at 12:00 AM UTC until December 10th at 11:59 PM UTC. After maintenance on December 15th, the New Hire Nebris Costume will be available in the Powder of Hope shop.
■ Costume and Exclusive Gear Schedule
– Costumes and Exclusive Gear will be added according to the schedule below.

We’ve made some adjustments and fixes in this update. Here’s a breakdown:
