Here Are the Best TV Shows to Stream this Weekend on Apple TV+, Including ‘Pluribus’

Looking for something to watch on Apple TV+ this weekend? Here are ten excellent shows – including new releases, returning hits, and Apple’s best original series – to help you start watching without endless browsing.

‘Pluribus’ (2025–)

The new sci-fi drama from Vince Gilligan centers on Carol Sturka, a romance writer who strangely remains unaffected when a virus turns most of humanity into an overly cheerful collective. Starring Rhea Seehorn, the show mixes mystery, dark comedy, and unexpected plot twists. Apple TV+ released the first nine episodes, beginning November 7th, with new installments added each week. The series is filmed in Albuquerque and is a production of High Bridge Productions and Sony Pictures Television.

‘The Morning Show’ (2019–)

This drama unfolds within the fast-paced world of a New York morning news show, following the lives of those who make it happen – the anchors, producers, and executives. The series starts with anchor Alex Levy trying to restore her show’s reputation after a scandal involving her co-host, and quickly expands to cover bigger issues like corporate takeovers and the ethics of modern media. Over several seasons, it examines questions of power, responsibility, and how the news impacts the public. A new season premiered in 2025.

‘The Last Frontier’ (2025–)

A new thriller set in Alaska follows a U.S. Marshal near Fairbanks as he hunts down dangerous inmates who escaped after a prison transport crashed. A criminal mastermind is pulling the strings from behind the scenes. The series stars Jason Clarke, Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, and Alfre Woodard. It premiered on October 10, 2025, and features hour-long episodes. Produced by Apple Studios and filmed mainly in Montreal, the show centers on a large-scale manhunt and the challenges faced by law enforcement in a remote area.

‘Slow Horses’ (2022–)

Slow Horses, a spy series on Apple TV+, centers around a team of disgraced MI5 agents who work out of a run-down office under the cynical leadership of Jackson Lamb. Each season is based on a different book by Mick Herron, blending a standalone case with a larger, ongoing political story. The show has already released several seasons, and a fifth is scheduled for 2025, with more seasons already confirmed.

‘Down Cemetery Road’ (2025–)

Based on Mick Herron’s 2003 novel, the series begins with a house explosion in a quiet Oxford suburb and the disappearance of a child. Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson star as a local resident drawn into the mystery and a private investigator hired to find the missing child. As they investigate, they uncover a complex network of secrets and hidden pasts. The first season launched on October 29, 2025, with new episodes released each week until December 10.

‘Loot’ (2022–)

Maya Rudolph plays Molly Wells, a recently divorced billionaire who dedicates herself to her charity foundation. The show is a funny look at the workplace, combined with Molly’s journey to redefine herself as she works with her staff to make a real difference with her money. Season three started airing in October 2025, and the cast also includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Joel Kim Booster, Ron Funches, and Nat Faxon.

‘Ted Lasso’ (2020–)

This heartwarming comedy centers on an American football coach who takes on the challenge of managing a British soccer team, despite knowing nothing about the sport. Over three seasons, the show follows the team’s ups and downs – from getting promoted to facing relegation – and the personal journeys of its characters, both on and off the field. Apple announced in March 2025 that a fourth season is in the works, this time focusing on Ted coaching a women’s team in Richmond. The series is a key part of Apple TV+’s programming.

‘Invasion’ (2021–2025)

As a huge sci-fi fan, I was completely hooked by this show! It’s a really immersive drama that follows an alien invasion, but what makes it special is that it tells the story through the eyes of everyday people all over the world. It’s got incredible special effects, of course, but it’s the personal stories about how people communicate and just try to survive that really got to me. It started as a limited series, but ended up growing over a few seasons before wrapping up in 2025. What I found most compelling was how realistically it portrayed the breakdown of order and how communities come together – or fall apart – when everything goes wrong.

‘Severance’ (2022–)

This thrilling series explores a mysterious procedure that separates the work and personal memories of employees. It centers on Mark Scout and his coworkers as they begin to suspect their company is hiding something. After a successful second season premiered in January 2025, the show was quickly renewed for a third. It became Apple TV+’s biggest hit, drawing large audiences with its combination of workplace intrigue and suspenseful psychological drama.

‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ (2025–)

This documentary series goes behind the scenes at restaurants around the world, showing their journey to win or maintain Michelin stars. Viewers get a unique look at how the Michelin Guide makes its decisions, following chefs in cities like New York, Chicago, and across Europe and Mexico as they create menus, manage service, and wait for the crucial announcements. The eight-episode season launched on October 10, 2025, and is produced by Studio Ramsay Global, with Jesse Burgess as the host.
