Universal Pictures is letting fans get a taste of the world of Oz with a unique Airbnb stay inspired by the movie Wicked: For Good, called Elphaba’s Retreat.
Okay, so I just experienced something truly special – a deep dive into the world of Elphaba, Cynthia Erivo’s incredible character! It wasn’t just a typical event; it felt like actually stepping into her secluded forest home. They’ve blended the beauty of nature with engaging storytelling and really interactive activities. Honestly, it wasn’t just about the story, it made you feel connected to Elphaba and everything she represents. It’s a totally unique experience for any fan.
The event will be hosted by Cynthia Erivo, a highly acclaimed performer with a Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award, and a three-time Oscar nominee.
She explained that learning about Elphaba helped her realize that what makes us different is also what gives us strength. Elphaba’s story had a profound impact on her, and she’s excited to share that experience with others. It’s free to participate! We’re inviting up to 20 fans to an event on December 3rd in Thousand Oaks, California. If you’d like to come, you can submit your request between 7am PT on November 11th and 7am PT on November 13th.
If you’re looking for a truly immersive experience, Elphaba’s Retreat is offering an overnight stay for two people on December 6th.
Starting November 11th at 7am Pacific Time, fans can book an overnight stay at the retreat through November 20th at 7am PT. This special stay allows guests to experience the enchanting world of Oz with decorations inspired by the forest, unique souvenirs, and themed snacks.
