LEGO and Nintendo Tease THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME Set

LEGO launched its first The Legend of Zelda set in 2024, featuring the Great Deku Tree. Now, they’re planning another collectible for fans of the popular video game series. While details are still limited, we know the new set will recreate the epic battle between Link and Ganon from the classic Nintendo 64 game, Ocarina of Time.

Nintendo of America is only offering a single tagline for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda set: “Do you realize who you’re dealing with?” This line is famously spoken by Ganon, the main villain from Ocarina of Time, to Link. A short animated preview shows Link and Navi facing off against Ganon, with Princess Zelda visible in the background. The environment and burning scenery also hint at the game’s climactic final battle.

The promotional material finishes by announcing when you’ll be able to play this LEGO version of Ocarina of Time. It states, “Build the Legend: Coming in 2026.” LEGO rarely reveals sets this far ahead of time, so we’re hoping that means it will be released early in the year. However, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from LEGO – and it’s going to be hard to be patient!

We’re pretty sure the Navi minifigure won’t actually float, but it’s not impossible! Even if she can’t fly, we and other fans will likely still buy this set, especially if it includes a buildable Ganon figure. LEGO’s Great Deku Tree is impressively large, but what we really want is a LEGO set that lets us build scenes from Link’s adventures in Hyrule. Recreating one of his iconic battles from a classic game would be amazing. It’s clear LEGO and Nintendo understood the fanbase when they created this collectible.
