Even though things get dangerous, the creators of Stranger Things have promised fans it won’t be as shocking or deadly as Game of Thrones. The Duffer Brothers have explained that while the show will be thrilling and scary, they don’t plan to kill off main characters just for shock value.
I’m really excited because they’ve promised us a season full of suspense, genuine scares, and big surprises! But thankfully, it won’t just be about characters dying for shock value. They’re really prioritizing building tension and focusing on the connections between the characters, which is what makes Hawkins feel like a real place to me.
For a while, many fans believed Karen Wheeler could actually be Vecna’s sister, Alice Creel, based on clues in season 4 promotional materials and imagery of the Creel House. However, that idea has now been proven incorrect.
As a huge Stranger Things fan, I was really excited to learn more about Karen Wheeler in the new play, ‘The First Shadow’! They actually revealed her maiden name is Childress, which officially connects her to both Mike and Nancy – that’s a cool detail! But even better, a recent clip shows Karen facing off against something supernatural all by herself. It’s awesome to see her getting her own storyline and really stepping into her own, instead of just being a mom on the sidelines.
The latest preview suggests the upcoming season will be full of suspense and excitement, and it confirms that the people of Hawkins are still in danger from the Upside Down.
