The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its class of 2025 inductees in April. As usual, though, the actual induction ceremony won’t happen for a while. The good news is you can watch it online, but you’ll need a subscription to do so.
The Rock Hall operates in some unusual ways. They have a fantastic website filled with information about the musicians and industry figures who are members, but surprisingly, they don’t stream the induction ceremony online.
The awards show might be limiting who can watch it due to how it’s being shown. While cost is likely a factor, requiring a subscription to a streaming service means many people can’t see the ceremony live.
You can watch the ceremony live on Disney+ this Saturday, November 8th, at 8 PM Eastern Time. If you miss it, it will also be available to stream on Disney+ after the event. Alternatively, you can wait almost two months to watch it, if you prefer.
You can watch the event on ABC this Thursday, January 1st, at 8 pm Eastern Time. If you miss it, it will be available to stream on Hulu starting January 2nd. Since Disney owns both ABC and Hulu, this staggered release likely helps them maximize viewership and revenue.
