POWER RANGERS Megazord LEGO Ideas Set NEEDS to Happen

We were just talking about how awesome a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers LEGO set would be! It feels like a natural fit – LEGO already has popular sets based on Iron Man and Transformers, and plenty of ninja-themed builds. A Power Rangers LEGO set just makes sense for both building and bringing back nostalgic memories. But honestly, nothing we imagined comes close to the incredible “Go Go Power Rangers! Lego Megazord” creation on LEGO Ideas by TrumanBricks. It’s a set that lets you build all five original Zords and then combine them into the mighty Dino Megazord! We seriously need LEGO to make this happen.

Here’s the full vision of this Mighty Morphin Power Rangers LEGO set from its creator:

Get ready, Power Rangers fans! This building set is a nostalgic treat for anyone who grew up with the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and loves giant robots. It features the iconic Megazord, which fully transforms, plus five collectible Power Rangers minifigures.

The Dino Megazord can be separated into the five zords:

  • Mastodon
  • Pterodactyl
  • Triceratops
  • Saber-tooth Tiger
  • Tyrannosaurus

Each Power Ranger Zord is fully articulated and looks just like it did in the original TV show. They can combine to form the massive Dino Megazord, which is also highly posable with moving parts in its head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. The Megazord is armed with both a giant Power Sword and a large mastodon shield.

This LEGO set is incredible! The individual Dino Zords are beautifully designed, and the fact that they combine into one massive Megazord is just fantastic. It’s clear this Power Rangers LEGO set would be a lot of fun to build – we love the detailed design, smart building techniques, and how great it looks overall. We want to buy it immediately!

TrumanBricks proposes this LEGO set include five Power Rangers minifigures. Currently, the figures have custom-painted helmets, but there’s potential for official minifigures with removable helmets to reveal the faces underneath. Check out the LEGO Power Rangers minifigures and their Zords in more detail below.

Okay, so the LEGO Ideas project for a Power Rangers Megazord has officially hit 10,000 supporters – that’s fantastic news! But, as a fan, I’m trying to stay cautiously optimistic. While this is a huge step, getting an actual Power Rangers LEGO set on shelves still depends on things like licensing and legal agreements. Fingers crossed it all works out!

We’re excited about this design and hope you are too! If you’d like to see it become a real LEGO set, please support it on LEGO Ideas.
