OREO Serves Up Thanksgiving-Flavored Cookies (Yes, There’s a Turkey & Stuffing Flavor)

I’ve sampled some truly unusual foods in my life, and Thanksgiving always brings out the most creative – and sometimes strange – dishes. I’ve bravely tasted everything from pecan pizza to turkey-flavored candy corn, even that infamous meat trifle! Now, Oreo is releasing Thanksgiving-flavored cookies, and I’m determined to try them all, particularly the flavors that sound the most questionable.

What Flavors Are In Oreo’s Thanksgiving Release?

The Oreoid Thanksgiving Dinner Cookie Tin is a quirky collection of Oreo cookies with flavors inspired by a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The tin contains 12 cookies total, with two each of six different flavors: Cranberry Sauce, Pumpkin Pie, Turkey & Stuffing, Creamed Corn, Sweet Potato, and Caramel Apple Pie. It’s a fun – and potentially unusual – treat!

Will Any of Oreo’s Thanksgiving Flavors Be Good? (We’re Rooting for Cranberry Sauce, but Have Written Off Turkey & Stuffing)

These Thanksgiving-themed Oreo cookies look appealing, but not all of them sound delicious. Luckily, most of them actually taste good! At least three flavors are potentially fantastic, and the Cranberry Sauce one might be surprisingly amazing. I’m not expecting much from the Creamed Corn flavor, but it could be an interesting, even if not great, experience. However, I have very low expectations for the Turkey & Stuffing Oreo – savory flavors rarely work well in sweet cookies.

I really like this overall, but I’m puzzled by the Creamed Corn flavor – it feels out of place for this time of year. And honestly, I was hoping for a Mashed Potato Oreo! Where is it? I’m still waiting!

How Can You Buy Oreo’s Thanksgiving Cookies?

Even though this cookie tin doesn’t include a traditional Thanksgiving side dish, I’m still excited about it. If you’re as quirky as I am, you can buy the Oreoid Thanksgiving Dinner Cookie Tin directly from the Oreo website. It’s currently on sale for $19.99, which is a reasonable price for something fun like this. However, having tried a lot of novelty foods, I can tell you that a good taste isn’t guaranteed with these Thanksgiving-themed Oreos.
