‘Nuremberg’ (2025)

I just saw James Vanderbilt’s new historical drama, and it’s a fascinating, if unsettling, look at the lead-up to the Nuremberg trials. The film is based on a true story, adapting Jack El-Hai’s book about psychiatrist Douglas Kelley – brilliantly played by Rami Malek – who was tasked with evaluating Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe). Michael Shannon delivers a strong performance as Robert H. Jackson, and the supporting cast, including Leo Woodall, John Slattery, and Richard E. Grant, all add depth. Dariusz Wolski’s cinematography is beautiful, and Brian Tyler’s score really enhances the tension. It premiered at TIFF and will be hitting theaters November 7th, courtesy of Sony Pictures Classics. It’s a compelling, thought-provoking film that I recommend checking out.

‘Little Amélie or the Character of Rain’ (2025)

An English dub will be available when it’s released in the U.S. The film is a production of Maybe Movies and Ikki Films, with Haut et Court handling distribution in France. It will be released on November 7, 2025.

‘All That We Love’ (2025)

I’m really excited about Yen Tan’s new movie! It’s a funny and touching story about a woman named Emma, played by Margaret Cho, who’s dealing with a lot after her dog passes away – her kids have left home, she’s starting to rethink her life, and her ex-husband suddenly reappears. The cast is fantastic too, with Kenneth Choi, Alice Lee, Atsuko Okatsuka, Devon Bostick, Missi Pyle, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson all involved. It premiered at Tribeca and will be out November 7, 2025 – I can’t wait! Clay Liford helped write it, Jon Keng did the cinematography, and Jon Natchez composed the music, so it’s shaping up to be something special.

‘Sarah’s Oil’ (2025)
