‘The Obsessed’ (2025)

The upcoming anime film, ‘Toritsukare Otoko,’ is a musical created by Shin Ei Animation. Wataru Takahashi directs, with a script by Naoyuki Miura and character designs by Masatsugu Arakawa. The music and songs are by atagi of Awesome City Club, and the band also performs the theme song, with Masaya Sano and Moka Kamishiraishi singing as their characters. Based on a novel by Shinji Ishii, the film will be released in Japan on November 7, 2025, by Bandai Namco Filmworks. The cast, including Giuseppe and Pechka, and snippets of the music were revealed in trailers released in July and September.
‘Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26’ (2025)

Starting November 7, 2025, Amazon Prime Video will release ‘Fujimoto Tatsuki 17–26’, a series adapting eight short stories by the creator of ‘Chainsaw Man’. The series includes stories like ‘A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin’ in the Schoolyard’, ‘Sasaki Stopped a Bullet’, and ‘Nayuta of the Prophecy’. Before its streaming release, the project had a limited run in theaters in Japan and South Korea.

The film stars Mana Ashida, Masaki Okada, and Koji Yakusho, and features cutting-edge digital animation for incredibly realistic facial expressions. Sony will handle international distribution, starting with a planned December release in North America.
