Max has a great lineup for November, with both brand new shows and returning favorites. You’ll find comedies about the world of social media influencers, a French prequel to the classic story ‘Dangerous Liaisons,’ compelling true crime documentaries, and plenty of familiar shows with new seasons or complete series available. Here are ten highlights – what they’re about, where they come from, and when they’ll be available on Max throughout November to help you plan your next binge-watching session.
‘I Love LA’ (2025– )

As a total movie and TV buff, I’m really excited about this new HBO comedy! It centers around Maia, who’s just starting out at a talent agency in LA, and her life gets completely turned upside down when her old friend, Tallulah – a big influencer – suddenly reappears. Basically, it’s all about the wild world of internet fame and how it messes with everything. The first season has eight episodes, airing Sundays, and stars Rachel Sennott, alongside a great cast including Odessa A’zion, Leighton Meester, and even Josh Hutcherson. It drops on Max on November 2nd, with new episodes coming out weekly after they air on HBO. From what I’ve heard, it dives into the themes of ambition, the desperate hunt for online clout, and the complexities of female friendship within the LA creator scene – sounds right up my alley!
‘The Seduction’ (2025– )

I’m so excited about this new HBO series! It’s a prequel to ‘Dangerous Liaisons,’ and it tells the story of a young Isabelle de Merteuil as she grows up in Paris right before the French Revolution. Anamaria Vartolomei is fantastic as Isabelle, and Jessica Palud directed it beautifully. It’s fascinating to watch Isabelle learn how to navigate the world of power and reputation, and how she starts to outmaneuver rivals like Valmont in both social gatherings and behind closed doors. It’s coming to Max on November 14th, with new episodes released each week through December – six episodes in total! Plus, it’s available as an HBO Original in many places at the same time it airs.
‘Ângela Diniz: Murdered and Convicted’ (2025)

This new Brazilian series on Max tells the story of Ângela Diniz, a socialite who was tragically killed in 1976 by Doca Street. It explores the subsequent, groundbreaking trials, using actual court documents and news reports from the time. The series, starring Marjorie Estiano and Emílio Dantas and produced by HBO and Conspiração Filmes, focuses on the investigation and the intense courtroom drama that followed, particularly the controversial attempt to justify the killing using an “honor” defense. Based on the award-winning reporting in ‘Praia dos Ossos,’ it highlights the case’s lasting impact on Brazilian culture. It begins streaming November 13th.
‘Alex vs ARod’ (2025)

This HBO Sports documentary tells the story of Alex Rodriguez in three parts, featuring both new interviews and classic game footage. It dives into the controversies he faced, like performance-enhancing drugs, plus key moments in his career and his relationships with others in baseball – all with insights from teammates and those who criticized him. The series premieres on HBO and Max on November 6th, and all episodes are available at once, making it perfect for a weekend binge.
‘Expedition Unknown’ (2015– )

Join adventurer Josh Gates as he travels the world in this Discovery series, exploring lost cities, famous artifacts, and mysteries from the past. Using cutting-edge technology like LIDAR and reconstructions, the show unravels historical puzzles. You can find many past seasons to watch, and new episodes will be available on Max starting November 6, shortly after they air on Discovery. Recent seasons have featured archaeological digs, searches for shipwrecks, and special episodes linked to major events.
‘Paranormal Caught on Camera’ (2019– )

This show features a team of investigators examining videos of unexplained phenomena – everything from UFOs to ghostly activity. They carefully review and mark up the footage, comparing it to similar cases. Because it’s an anthology series, you can start watching at any episode. All seasons will be available to stream on Max starting November 2nd, and segments are grouped by topic with insights from well-known experts from the Travel Channel.
‘Holiday Baking Championship’ (2014– )

The popular Food Network show returns with Jesse Palmer as host and judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown. This season, twelve bakers will compete in themed challenges each week. A new twist divides the bakers into ‘Naughty’ and ‘Nice’ teams. After eight episodes, one baker will win the grand prize. New episodes will be available on Max starting November 4, shortly after they air on TV. This is all part of Food Network’s holiday-themed programming throughout November and December.
‘Maine Cabin Masters’ (2017– )

Chase Morrill and his team bring old camps and cabins in Maine back to life. Ashley Morrill designs the renovations, while Ryan Eldridge, Matt Dix, and Jared Baker lead the building process. The show follows their work, including the costs, schedules, and methods they use to repair structures and create cozy, rustic interiors – often in challenging locations. New episodes will be available on Max starting November 7, shortly after they air on Magnolia Network, along with many previous seasons. The series has been running for over ten seasons.
‘Gold Rush’ (2010– )

As a gold mining fan, I’m really looking forward to the new season of Discovery’s show! It follows guys like Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets, and Rick Ness as they try to strike it rich, and it’s always a challenge with all the gear, paperwork, and the limited time they have because of the harsh northern winters. This season, it seems like Parker’s really pushing things with some risky claims and a super tight schedule, forcing him to revamp his operation. New episodes will be on Max starting November 8th, right after they air on Discovery. If you’re new to the show, it’s worth checking out the older seasons too – you really get to see how the crews and the mining sites have changed over time.
‘Teen Titans Go!’ (2013– )

As a huge animation fan, I’m really excited about this! It’s a funny series following DC’s Teen Titans – Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy – and it’s got tons of episodes. We’re talking hundreds of eleven-minute adventures, plus some extra specials and mini-stories thrown in over the years. The best part? It’s all landing on Max on November 21st, and there’s already a huge library available, so you can jump in pretty much anywhere. And it’s still being made, which means there will always be new stuff to watch!
