
Johnny Knoxville, known for performing his own stunts in Jackass, is taking on a new role: hosting the revived Fear Factor on Fox. The network has just released a preview of the upcoming season.
Now titled Fear Factor: The Next Chapter, the show will challenge contestants with daring stunts, difficult puzzles, and tests of their social skills, all while stranded in a remote location.

Contestants will live together and face a series of extreme challenges involving disgusting food, scary animals, fire, heights, and other difficult obstacles. They’ll try to conquer their fears for a chance to win a big prize, but ultimately, only one person will be the winner.
The new series, Fear Factor: The Next Chapter, will debut in January, and the preview shows it’s packed with intense challenges and surprising moments. Host Johnny Knoxville will bring his characteristic wit and enthusiasm as he leads contestants through each frightening obstacle.
Steve-O is famous for being a star and producer on the Jackass series. More recently, he’s been in the Apple TV comedy The Studio and the movie The Luckiest Man in America. He’s also appeared on several TV shows, including The Prank Panel, Hulu’s Reboot, History of the World: Part Two, Agent Elvis, and Ridiculousness.
The reality show Fear Factor first aired on NBC from 2001 to 2006, hosted by Joe Rogan. It had a short return on NBC in 2011, and was then brought back by MTV in 2017. This latest version of the show features updated challenges, a contemporary feel, and even more thrilling stunts.
