Starz has dropped the first trailer for Spartacus: House of Ashur, offering fans a preview of the show’s promised violence, drama, and high-energy action.
I’m so excited for the show to finally come out! Starz has announced it’ll premiere on December 5th, and they’re dropping the first two episodes right away. After that, they’ll be releasing a new episode every Friday on both the app and the channel, which is perfect for a weekend binge!
The latest trailer for ‘Red Band’ features a violent gladiator battle, filled with blood and mayhem. The scene shows the intense pressure on the fighters, as the crowd and the emperor decide their fate with a simple gesture. We get a quick glimpse of Liam McIntyre as Spartacus, and in a surprising turn, Nick E. Tarabay’s character, Ashur, fatally stabs him with a spear.

Spartacus: House of Ashur presents a fresh take on Ancient Rome. The story centers on Ashur, who rises to power as “Dominus” after a previous defeat. Fueled by a thirst for revenge and a desire for control, he establishes a powerful new faction built on violence, ambition, and loyalty.
