The details for Season 2 of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A ranked mode are now available, including how players can earn the Delphoxite, this season’s special Mega Stone. It appears getting it will be simpler than many anticipated.
During the first season, players needed to climb from Rank Z to Rank K to earn the Greninjite Mega Stone. It was promoted as a one-time-only opportunity. While ranking up didn’t require winning battles, it still took a considerable amount of time, and many players felt it was too grindy.

We’ve made two important changes based on player feedback. First, if you didn’t earn the Greninite during the first Ranked Season, you’ll have another chance in Season 2, and it’s now much easier to get – reaching Rank Y should be enough, and you could even do it in a single battle! Second, earning the Delphoxite this season is also easier. You only need to reach Rank S, which most players should be able to do in just a couple of battles – a significant improvement over previous seasons.
Great news! Xerneas and Yveltal are now allowed in battles for the next season, which runs from November 5th to 26th. This means you can finally include these powerful Kalos region Pokémon in your team. Unfortunately, Zygarde is still unavailable, so its immense strength will have to wait.
