‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ (2012)

The final installment in Stephenie Meyer’s popular series, directed by Bill Condon, centers on Bella and Edward’s efforts to safeguard their daughter, Renesmee, from the Volturi. Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, and written by Melissa Rosenberg, the film also features performances by Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, Michael Sheen, and Dakota Fanning. Guillermo Navarro served as the cinematographer, and Carter Burwell composed the music. It will be released in theaters on November 1, 2025.
‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ (2011)

‘Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk’ (2025)

As a total cinema lover, I’m really moved by this documentary. It follows director Sepideh Farsi’s conversations – through video calls – with Fatma Hassona, a young photographer and poet living in Gaza. It gives you a really personal look at what daily life is like there, especially with everything happening. The film is made up of footage Fatma shot herself and their conversations, and it’s incredibly powerful. It really focuses on her strength and how she’s coping. I’m marking my calendar – it’s coming to theaters on November 5, 2025, and I already know I’ll be there.
‘Mary J. Blige: For My Fans’ (2025)

Mary J. Blige’s concert from Madison Square Garden, part of her For My Fans tour, is coming to movie theaters! The film features her biggest hits like ‘Family Affair,’ ‘Be Without You,’ and ‘No More Drama,’ as well as songs from her album ‘Gratitude.’ You’ll also see behind-the-scenes footage and special guests. It will be in theaters on November 5, 2025.
‘Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago – The Ultimate Director’s Cut’ (1985)

Sylvester Stallone has revisited his classic 1985 film, Rocky IV, creating a new version with added and changed scenes. This director’s cut focuses more on the characters and makes the fight sequences even more impactful. Starring Stallone and Dolph Lundgren, alongside Talia Shire, Carl Weathers, and Brigitte Nielsen, this 98-minute cut will be back in cinemas on November 5, 2025.
‘The Christmas Ring’ (2020)

This romantic movie, based on a story by Karen Kingsbury, follows Vanessa Mayfield, a woman who lost her husband in the military and is now searching for a missing family treasure. She meets Ben Miller, an antiques dealer, and their lives become intertwined. Jana Kramer and Benjamin Hollingsworth star in the film, which is directed by Tyler Russell and will be released on November 6, 2025.
‘Lost & Found in Cleveland’ (2025)

This heartwarming story, set in Cleveland, follows five people whose lives unexpectedly connect when a popular antiques appraisal show visits their city. The film has been a hit at local festivals, including a very successful screening at the Cleveland International Film Festival, and will be released in theaters on November 6, 2025.
‘I Wish You All the Best’ (2025)

I’m really excited about Tommy Dorfman’s first movie! It’s based on a book about a nonbinary teen named Ben DeBacker, and it follows their journey to find acceptance and a place to belong after a tough situation with their family. I saw it premiered at SXSW this year, and the music by Brad Oberhofer is amazing. It’s coming to theaters November 7th, 2025, and I’ve already marked my calendar!
‘Long Shadows’ (2025)

The western thriller, directed and written by William Shockley, tells the story of a young man seeking revenge, guided by a former outlaw. The film stars Dermot Mulroney, Dominic Monaghan, and Jacqueline Bisset. Quiver Distribution picked up the rights to distribute the movie in North America earlier this year, and it will be released in theaters on November 7, 2025.
‘Die My Love’ (2025)

Directed by Lynne Ramsay and based on a novel by Ariana Harwicz, this psychological drama explores the intense experience of postpartum psychosis through the story of a young mother, played by Jennifer Lawrence. The film also stars Robert Pattinson, Sissy Spacek, and LaKeith Stanfield. It debuted at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, was picked up for distribution, and features a screenplay co-written by Ramsay with Enda Walsh and Alice Birch. Seamus McGarvey handled the cinematography. It will be released in theaters on November 7, 2025.
‘Sarah’s Oil’ (2025)

Directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh, this biographical film tells the story of Sarah Rector, an Oklahoma girl who struck oil on her land and became a millionaire at just eleven years old. Naya Desir-Johnson stars as Sarah, supported by Zachary Levi, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Garret Dillahunt. ‘Grand Prix of Europe’ (2025)

This family-friendly animated movie follows Ed and Edda, the popular mascots of Europa-Park, in a thrilling racing adventure. Featuring a star-studded voice cast including Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Gemma Arterton, Hayley Atwell, and Lenny Henry, and a score by Volker Bertelmann, the film tells the story of a determined mouse who cleverly disguises herself to compete in a major Grand Prix race. It’s scheduled for release on November 7, 2025.
‘Predator: Badlands’ (2025)

Director Dan Trachtenberg is revisiting the world of ‘Predator’ with a new story that delves into the Predator culture itself. The film centers on Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a Predator who’s been cast out, and his partnership with an android companion (Elle Fanning). Written with Patrick Aison, this installment offers a fresh take on the franchise and features action geared towards a wider audience, earning it a PG-13 rating. It’s scheduled for release in theaters on November 7, 2025.
’31 Candles’ (2025)

Jonah Feingold’s new romantic comedy, set in New York City, centers around a filmmaker who creates Christmas movies and decides to finally have his Bar Mitzvah – at age 31. As he prepares, he reconnects with past relationships, deals with family dynamics, and chooses a community service project. The film stars Jonah Feingold, Sarah Coffey, Jackie Sandler, Larry Owens, Lori Tan Chinn, and Caroline Aaron, and will be released on November 7, 2025.
‘Little Amélie or the Character of Rain’ (2025)

Inspired by Amélie Nothomb’s novel, this heartwarming film tells the story of a young Belgian girl growing up in post-war Japan and the special relationship she develops with her caregiver, Nishio-san. GKIDS will release the film in the U.S., and the story explores themes of childhood wonder and the complex emotions hidden within a seemingly perfect life abroad. It will be shown in theaters on November 7, 2025.
‘Nuremberg’ (2025)

James Vanderbilt’s historical drama, based on the book ‘The Nazi and the Psychiatrist,’ tells the story of U.S. Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) as he assesses Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) before the Nuremberg trials. Michael Shannon plays Robert H. Jackson. With cinematography by Dariusz Wolski and a score by Brian Tyler, the film will be previewed at festivals before its theatrical release on November 7, 2025.
‘Peter Hujar’s Day’ (2025)

Ira Sachs’s new film, set in the 1970s, tells the story of photographer Peter Hujar (played by Ben Whishaw) and writer Linda Rosenkrantz (played by Rebecca Hall). The script is based on recently discovered transcripts of a detailed conversation they had on a single day. The film debuted at Sundance in 2025 and will be released in theaters by Janus Films and Sideshow on November 7, 2025.
‘j-hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ THE MOVIE’ (2025)

As a huge BTS fan, I just got a sneak peek at the concert film of j-hope’s ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ tour, and it’s incredible! They really went all out with the visuals – it’s presented in a massive, immersive format. The film includes all the fan favorites from the tour, plus the unforgettable final performances. And the best part? It’s hitting theaters worldwide – including IMAX! – on November 12, 2025. Trust me, ARMY, you won’t want to miss this one on the big screen.
‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’ (2025)

As a big fan of the ‘Now You See Me’ films, I’m really excited about the third installment! It’s bringing back all the original crew – Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman – and adding some fantastic new faces like Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, Rosamund Pike, and Dominic Sessa. Ruben Fleischer is directing, and thankfully, some of the original writers are involved too. From what I understand, the Horsemen are teaming up with a new group to take on a seriously powerful enemy. Mark your calendars – it’s hitting theaters on November 14, 2025, and I already have it circled!

‘Trap House’ (2025)

Director Michael Dowse’s new action thriller, set in El Paso, follows a DEA agent (Dave Bautista) who is shocked to discover his own teenage children are the masterminds behind a series of daring cartel robberies. The film stars Jack Champion, Sophia Lillis, Tony Dalton, Whitney Peak, Inde Navarrette, Zaire Adams, Kate del Castillo, and Bobby Cannavale. Matt Flannery handled the cinematography, and Tim Porter edited the film. Produced by Signature Films, Scott Free, and others, the movie centers on a tense game of cat and mouse within a family, and will be released on November 14, 2025.
‘Muzzle: City of Wolves’ (2025)

I just got a sneak peek at the sequel to ‘Muzzle,’ and Aaron Eckhart is back as Jake Rosser, a former K-9 officer hoping for some peace and quiet. That doesn’t last long, though, as he gets pulled into a dangerous situation involving a ruthless gang and a larger conspiracy – thankfully, he’s got a new canine partner to help him out. John Stalberg Jr. directed, working from a script by Jacob Michael King, and the film really benefits from some slick cinematography by Pieter Vermeer and editing by Bella Erikson. Tanya van Graan, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Karl Thaning, and Nicole Fortuin round out the cast. Keep an eye out for this one when it hits theaters on November 14, 2025.
‘Tapawingo’ (2025)

The indie comedy film, directed by Dylan K. Narang, features Jon Heder as a quirky resident of a small town who unexpectedly becomes the protector of a teenager being bullied. This leads to a series of humorous confrontations with local troublemakers. The film also stars Billy Zane, Gina Gershon, John Ratzenberger, Chris Gethard, Kim Matula, and Amanda Bearse. Filmed in central Virginia in 2021 and distributed by Indican Pictures, the movie is 1 hour and 49 minutes long and will be released on November 14, 2025.
‘King Ivory’ (2025)

John Swab’s new crime thriller, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in 2024, follows Oklahoma law enforcement and cartel members involved in a methamphetamine trafficking ring called “king ivory.” The film stars James Badge Dale, Ben Foster, Michael Mando, Rory Cochrane, Graham Greene, Ritchie Coster, and Melissa Leo. Will Stone handled the cinematography, and Andrew Aaronson edited the film. Roxwell Films produced it, and Saban Films and Roadside Attractions are distributing it in the U.S. It will be released in theaters on November 14, 2025.
‘The Boy and the Heron’ (2023)

Hayao Miyazaki’s latest animated film centers on Mahito, a young boy coping with the loss of his mother. He’s drawn into a strange, otherworldly tower by a mysterious heron, a place that connects the worlds of the living and the dead. The film was created by Studio Ghibli, with music by Joe Hisaishi and editing by Takeshi Seyama. The Japanese voice actors include Soma Santoki, Masaki Suda, Kō Shibasaki, Aimyon, and Takuya Kimura, and the English dub features stars like Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, and Willem Dafoe. Cinematography was done by Atsushi Okui, working alongside Miyazaki’s longtime producer, Toshio Suzuki. The film will be released in theaters on November 15, 2025.
‘Angel’s Egg’ (1985)

Mamoru Oshii’s influential 1985 anime, a visually striking collaboration with artist Yoshitaka Amano, has been newly restored. The film follows a girl protecting a strange egg and the soldier who watches over her as they journey through an empty city. Known for its minimal dialogue and references to biblical themes, the movie features a haunting score by Yoshihiro Kanno, stark visuals by Shigeo Sugimura, and evocative editing by Seiji Morita, all contributing to its dreamlike atmosphere. Mako Hyōdō and Jinpachi Nezu provide key voice performances. The restored film will be shown starting November 19, 2025.
‘Wicked: For Good’ (2025)

Directed by Jon M. Chu, ‘Wicked: For Good’ wraps up the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. The film stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, with supporting performances by Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, and Ethan Slater. Continuing the story after the first film, ‘Wicked: For Good’ explores the growing conflict between the two main characters and introduces new elements from the later parts of the stage show. It’s scheduled for release on November 21, 2025.
‘Rental Family’ (2025)

I’m really excited about Hikari’s new film! She directed and co-wrote it with Stephen Blahut, and it’s set in Tokyo. It’s a dramedy starring Brendan Fraser as an American actor who ends up working for this fascinating agency – they basically rent out people to be family members for clients. It sounds surprisingly heartwarming, and I’m already anticipating a really emotional connection to the story. The cast is fantastic too, with Takehiro Hira, Mari Yamamoto, Shannon Mahina Gorman, and Akira Emoto all involved. Takurô Ishizaka did the cinematography, and the music is by Jónsi and Alex Somers – a combination I’m very eager to hear! It premiered at TIFF and will be in theaters November 21st, 2025. I’ve already marked my calendar!
‘Altered’ (2025)

Directed by Timo Vuorensola, this sci-fi thriller is set in a present-day world ruled by genetically engineered people. The story follows a group of characters whose allegiances are tested as a rebellion begins to take shape. Starring Tom Felton, Elizaveta Bugulova, and Richard Brake, the film was made with support from Canada and will be released on November 21, 2025.
‘Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas in the Dark’ (2020)

Okay, so there’s this absolutely wild action-comedy by Travis Irvine, originally from 2020, and it’s coming back to theaters! It’s about an ex-con named Casey who gets stuck on a train… being attacked by seriously violent raccoons with guns! It’s a hilarious send-up of movies like ‘Speed 2’ and all those over-the-top action flicks from the ’90s. Yang Miller stars, and it’s gained a really dedicated following thanks to streaming and late-night showings. I saw the announcement – it’s hitting theaters again on November 21, 2025, and I can’t wait!
‘Cactus Pears’ (2025)

Rohan Kanawade’s new film is a love story about Anand, a man in his thirties who goes back to his childhood village in western India after his father passes away. While there, he reconnects with an old friend, Balya, and they begin a heartfelt relationship, despite facing challenges from their traditional families. The film explores themes of same-sex love, cultural expectations, and finding oneself, and was made with support from filmmakers in India, Canada, and the U.K. It’s 112 minutes long and will be released in the U.S. by Strand Releasing on November 21, 2025.
‘Sisu: Road to Revenge’ (2025)

Jalmari Helander is back with a sequel to his action film. This time, Aatami Korpi (played by Jorma Tommila) is moving his family home – and finds himself pursued by the Soviet officer who killed his family. The film stars Stephen Lang and Richard Brake, with Mika Orasmaa as cinematographer. Stage 6 Films and Good Chaos are producing. A preview showed off the film’s wild action, and it’s scheduled for release in theaters on November 21, 2025.
‘Zootopia 2’ (2025)

The team behind the original Zootopia – directors Byron Howard and Jared Bush, along with stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman – are back for a new adventure. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will face a fresh challenge involving a serpentine threat, and Ke Huy Quan joins the voice cast. Jared Bush also co-wrote the screenplay, expanding on the world of the acclaimed first film. The movie is scheduled to be released on November 26, 2025.
‘Hamnet’ (2025)

Chloé Zhao directs a film based on Maggie O’Farrell’s novel, starring Jessie Buckley as Agnes and Paul Mescal as William Shakespeare. The story explores the deep family sorrow following the loss of their son, and how that grief influenced Shakespeare’s writing. The film features cinematography by Łukasz Żal and a score by Max Richter. Focus Features and Universal will distribute the movie, which won the People’s Choice Award at TIFF and will be released on November 26, 2025.
‘The Beatles Anthology’ (1995)

A remastered and expanded version of the acclaimed documentary about the band’s history will be released in late November. This new edition includes an extra episode, rare footage from the studio, and previously unseen interviews, all carefully restored by Apple Corps. It will be available on November 26, 2025.
‘Eternity’ (2025)

Directed by David Freyne and co-written with Pat Cunnane, this romantic comedy explores what happens after life. Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller star as two people facing a unique dilemma: choosing who they’ll spend eternity with. The supporting cast includes Callum Turner, John Early, Olga Merediz, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. A24 is producing and distributing the film, with cinematography by Ruairí O’Brien and a score by David Fleming. It premiered at TIFF 2025 and will be released nationwide on November 26, 2025.
‘The Thing with Feathers’ (2025)

Dylan Southern directs and wrote the screenplay for a new drama based on Max Porter’s book, ‘Grief Is the Thing with Feathers.’ Benedict Cumberbatch stars as a father grieving the loss of his wife and raising two sons, whose lives are disrupted by an unexpected and chaotic houseguest. The film, supported by Film4, SunnyMarch, and Lobo Films, also features Vinette Robinson, David Thewlis, and Leo Bill, with Ben Fordesman handling the cinematography. It will be released in the U.K. and U.S. in late November, with a scheduled release date of November 28, 2025.
