Vampire Survivors co-op mode and Balatro crossover out now

Poncle, the creator of Vampire Survivors, is bringing in characters and elements from other popular video games, similar to how Thanos collects Infinity Stones. After adding content from other games into Vampire Survivors and getting his own game featured in Two Point Museum, Poncle has now included content from the indie hit Balatro. This collaboration is available as a free update for all players.

Vampire Survivors is getting a fun update with four characters from the card game Balatro! Jimbo, Canio, Chicot, and Perkeo are joining the fight against the undead, sporting special clown makeup that protects them from blood. Along with the new characters come four unique weapons and a brand-new stage called The Ante Chamber. This stage also introduces a sneak peek at a new game mechanic, the Survarots, which will be added to the main game soon, offering players even more ways to become powerful.

And there’s more! Vampire Survivors now includes online co-op, letting up to four players play together. Just a heads-up: this feature isn’t available on mobile devices just yet.

Version 1.14 includes the ‘Ode to Castlevania’ update, adding more content from the Castlevania series to the game. This includes 16 new characters and weapons, a new adventure, and 12 new music tracks. To access this update, you need to own the game’s downloadable content (DLC); it’s not included in the base game. The update significantly expands the game’s content and makes the DLC even more appealing.

The updates included in this patch will be available on the Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch versions of the game a little later, on October 31st, 2025.
