The world created by Anne Rice is expanding with a new series, Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order, which promises even more complex connections between supernatural beings and humans. Fans of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire will remember the Talamasca as an organization dedicated to observing and documenting vampires, witches, and other immortals over the centuries. Though their purpose is simply to gather information and not intervene, things rarely go as planned—especially when dealing with powerful creatures who don’t appreciate being watched. A sneak peek from Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order introduces Jasper, a new vampire played by William Fichtner, who seems determined to cause the Talamasca a great deal of trouble with his mischievous behavior.
If you found the characters Armand and Lestat in Interview with the Vampire to be complex, prepare to be captivated by Jasper, as portrayed by Fichtner. He’s charismatic, quick-witted, and carries a hint of sadness in his eyes – we instantly connected with him. Here at TopMob, we tend to sympathize with vampires, so we can see why they might retaliate against a group that’s constantly watching them. Of course, vampires aren’t always innocent, but we believe they deserve the right to make their own choices – even if those choices aren’t always good.
Jasper is causing major problems for the Talamasca, as seen in a sneak peek from Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order. He’s taken control of their London headquarters, and despite Checkers’ protests, he’s firmly in charge. It’s going to take a lot more than just arguing to remove him. Jasper is now leading the organization, but the question remains: can he hold onto that power?
It looks like we’ll need to follow Guy Anatole, a young man with psychic abilities and a hidden history, and Helen, who brings him into the Talamasca organization, to understand what’s happening. With the Talamasca playing a key role in this story, and Jasper already creating problems, he seems to be setting himself up as the main villain. However, as is typical in this universe, things are rarely simple. We suspect Jasper might still earn the sympathy of both the audience and other characters.
We’re excited to see Guy and Jasper finally meet, even though they don’t interact in this short clip from Talamasca: The Secret Order. It will be interesting to see who truly takes the lead between them – maybe they’ll end up sharing the responsibility! (Just a little fun for fans.) The big question is: will Guy remain loyal to the Talamasca, or will Jasper’s influence sway him? We’ll have to keep watching to find out.

Fans of Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches will be excited about Talamasca: The Secret Order. This short clip gives you a taste of the series’ thrilling and spooky atmosphere. With vampires, witches, and spies, it’s a captivating mix! Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order begins with two episodes premiering October 26th at 9 pm Eastern/Pacific on AMC and AMC+.
