Miley Cyrus to Debut New Song ‘Dream as One’ for ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Soundtrack

Miley Cyrus will be performing an original song called “Dream as One” in James Cameron’s new “Avatar” movie, “Avatar: Fire and Ash.”

The song was made with the help of Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and composer Simon Franglen.

You’ll hear the song as the movie’s credits roll, and it will also be included on the official movie soundtrack. The soundtrack comes out on December 12th, but you can listen to the song, “Dream as One,” starting November 14th.

I’m really excited for Miley Cyrus’ new song, “Dream As One,” which drops November 14th! Apparently, it’s going to be part of the soundtrack for the new Avatar movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash. And speaking of the movie, it’s hitting theaters December 19th – definitely a date for the calendar if you’re an Avatar fan like me!

I was so excited to see that Miley Cyrus shared a little preview of a new song she wrote for the upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash! She posted about it on social media, saying how honored she was to be part of the project – she actually co-wrote it with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, which is amazing!

This project is deeply personal to me, as I’ve experienced loss and rebuilding firsthand. I’m incredibly grateful to Jim for letting me channel that experience into music. The film’s message of togetherness, recovery, and love really speaks to me, and being a part of the amazing world the Avatar team has built feels like a dream.

“Avatar: Fire and Ash” picks up where 2022’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” left off, bringing viewers back to the stunning world of Pandora. The film features returning stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet. Simon Franglen not only co-wrote a song for the movie, but also composed the entire musical score.

As a huge movie fan, I’m telling you, the world of Avatar is even more incredible than you think! I just saw the trailer for ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ and it looks amazing – you absolutely have to see it in theaters on December 19th. And get this – they’re bringing ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ back to cinemas in 3D for a week, starting October 3rd! Definitely don’t want to miss that either.

Miley Cyrus has contributed to film soundtracks before. She previously released the song “Beautiful That Way” for the movie “The Last Showgirl” in December 2024. This year, she also released her ninth studio album, “Something Beautiful,” along with a corresponding film.
