I’m so excited! The Apothecary Diaries is turning two, and they just dropped some amazing news! We’re officially getting a third season of the anime – they just released a new trailer confirming it! As a fan, I couldn’t be happier!
The new season is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2026. TOHO Animation has announced that, similar to the previous seasons, it will be released in two parts. The first part will begin in October 2026, and the second part will follow in April 2027 after a brief pause.
In addition to the new season, a feature film is also coming to theaters in Japan in October 2026.
While the movie’s title and who’s working on it haven’t been revealed yet, the story will be brand new. According to the announcement, Natsu Hyuga, who wrote the original series, is writing the screenplay, which is another reason to look forward to the film. It’s currently unclear if the movie will be released outside of its country of origin.
