Four Years in the Making
The upcoming event is a way for fans to say goodbye to Anne Rice, fulfilling a promise made by her son, bestselling author Christopher Rice. It will include a theatrical performance and the debut of a new documentary series featuring exclusive interviews with those who knew and worked with her.
The show will feature talented performers like Irma Thomas, a New Orleans legend known as the “Soul Queen,” Mary Fahl, who previously fronted the band October Project, and Carolee Carmello, a Broadway star who played a leading role in the musical Lestat, which was inspired by Anne Rice’s novels.
Christopher Rice explained that New Orleans was essential to his mother’s work and legacy. He believes no other city could have provided such a fitting and genuine setting for a large-scale celebration of her life and work.

Produced by Close Collaborators
Dinner Partners LLC, a company owned by Christopher Rice and Eric Shaw Quinn, is producing the event. Both Rice and Quinn were close friends and frequent collaborators with Anne Rice. They also run The Dinner Party Show Network, which often featured exclusive announcements and interviews from Anne Rice.
Dinner Partners, as the official stewards of her work, is keeping her creative spirit alive by developing new projects that build on the atmospheric and passionate themes found in her stories.
Quinn shared that discovering the author’s books was a life-changing experience. She expressed how honored she is to now celebrate the author’s lasting impact as both a friend and someone she worked with, a privilege she’ll always treasure.
