If you’re a fan of romance, there’s a new board game you might enjoy! Called Endearment, it’s a strategy game set in 19th-century England, inspired by the novels of Jane Austen—like Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma. Players get to experience falling in love as they play.
This new Kickstarter project lets you step into a romantic Regency-era world! You’ll play as a character inspired by Jane Austen’s heroines, meeting interesting people and experiencing different stories as you look for love. It’s designed for one to four players.
In the game Endearment, you progress through chapters filled with challenges. Players develop their characters and navigate social competitions as they pursue romance. If you enjoy classic stories like those by Jane Austen, this game offers a chance to experience a similar world.
The game features stunning art and historical details, bringing the refined world of Jane Austen’s novels to life. Players can explore beautiful gardens, dance in grand ballrooms, and wander through impressive estates – it’s a dream come true for anyone who loves a good romance.
What Is Included in the Jane Austen Endearment Game Set?
This game includes everything you need to play: a beautifully designed game board, eight heroine cards, four boards to track character traits, 15 heroine portrait cards, eight playing pieces, a marker to show who goes first, 24 trait tokens, 32 character cards, 36 setting cards, 60 dress cards, 35 plot cards, and 54 persuasion cards.
The game is being funded through Kickstarter. People who support the project will receive a bonus gift with their game, including five exclusive royal setting cards from the Royal Tour mini-expansion.
