‘Anyone But You’ (2023)

Directed by Will Gluck, ‘Anyone But You’ is a witty and contemporary romantic comedy loosely based on Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing.’ The film stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell as Bea and Ben, former flames who pretend to be a couple at a wedding in Australia. The cast also features Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, Bryan Brown, and Rachel Griffiths. Ilana Wolpert and Will Gluck wrote the screenplay. It will be released on Monday, October 20th.
‘Freud’s Last Session’ (2023)

‘Freud’s Last Session’ is a compelling drama unfolding in London just before World War II. The film portrays an imagined conversation between the renowned Sigmund Freud, played by Anthony Hopkins, and author C.S. Lewis, portrayed by Matthew Goode, as they explore complex questions about faith, love, and the workings of the human mind. Based on Mark St. Germain’s stage play (which itself drew from Armand Nicholi’s ‘The Question of God’) and directed by Matthew Brown, the film also stars Liv Lisa Fries, Jodi Balfour, Jeremy Northam, and Orla Brady. ‘The Hand That Rocks the Cradle’ (1992)

The popular thriller ‘The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,’ directed by Curtis Hanson, tells the story of a nanny with a hidden agenda who enters a family grieving a loss. The film stars Rebecca De Mornay and Annabella Sciorra, with supporting roles played by Matt McCoy, Ernie Hudson, and Julianne Moore. Written by Amanda Silver, the movie is set in Seattle and became a box-office hit thanks to its suspenseful plot and atmosphere. Graeme Revell composed the music, and Robert Elswit handled the cinematography. It will be available starting Wednesday, October 22.
‘Christmas Plus One’ (2022)

“Christmas Plus One” is a charming Canadian romantic comedy about two sisters who decide to find their perfect matches by the next Christmas. A year later, Cara is in a rush to find the man she thinks is her soulmate. ‘A Very Merry Beauty Salon’ (2024)

Get ready for a heartwarming holiday movie! ‘A Very Merry Beauty Salon,’ set during Atlanta’s glamorous Tinsel Ball, tells the story of Sienna, a salon owner recognized for her generosity, whose life gets a delightful shake-up when she meets a charming sponsor. ‘Match Made in Mistletoe’ (2021)

Adrian Langley directs ‘Christmas in Washington,’ a new holiday movie written by Jennifer Edwards and Shannon Latimer. The story follows an interior decorator who gets a big career opportunity at the Kalmar Embassy, but initially struggles to work with the embassy’s direct and practical new ambassador. As the holiday season progresses, they begin to find common ground. Natalie Lisinska and Damon Runyan lead the cast, with Kathleen Laskey, James Kall, and Tessa Kozma also appearing. The movie is around 87-89 minutes long and will be released on Thursday, October 23.
‘Hot Chocolate Holiday’ (2021)

‘Hot Chocolate Holiday’ is a charming, family-friendly movie about a coffee shop owner whose famous hot cocoa recipe is seemingly copied by a new competitor. This sparks both a rivalry and a potential romance. Starring Aubrey Reynolds and Jonny Swenson, with supporting roles played by Kelsie Elena and Robert John Moody, the film was directed by Brian Brough and written by Brittany Wiscombe. ‘Deadly Girls Trip’ (2025)

The story begins with the execution of Isaac Broadway (Tim Daly), which sets his son, Henry (Brandon Lessard), on a journey involving a crooked sheriff and hidden gold. The cast also includes David Arquette, Q’orianka Kilcher, Katrina Bowden, and Ethan Peck. Written by Lee Zachariah, the film debuted at film festivals before its release in the U.S. on October 24th.
