‘Vampirina: Teenage Vampire’ (2025– )

This new Disney+ series is a spin-off of the popular show ‘Vampirina.’ It follows teenage Vee Hauntley as she navigates life at a performing-arts boarding school, secretly hiding her vampire identity while chasing her dream of becoming a musician. Rebecca Kneubuhl is heading up the music, bringing a modern sound to the series. It premieres on Disney+ on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Each episode is an hour long and includes surprising twists and impressive sculpted desserts. New episodes premiere Saturday, October 11th, on Disney+.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ (2024– )

Okay, I’m SO excited about this! It’s a continuation of the *Wizards of Waverly Place* story, and David Henrie is back as Justin! Plus, Selena Gomez is making an appearance as Alex and they’re both producing, which is amazing. Apparently, Justin’s now mentoring a really talented young wizard named Billie in Staten Island, and they’re building on the whole Family Wizard Competition world and figuring out how magic works now. Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas developed it, based on the original characters created by Todd J. Greenwald, and It’s a Laugh Productions is making it happen. It’s coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, October 8th, and I’ve already marked my calendar!

‘The Simpsons’ (1989– )

The Simpsons is back with new episodes! Join Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie as they continue their adventures in the quirky town of Springfield. The show still features the original voice actors – Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, and Harry Shearer – and the iconic theme song by Danny Elfman. While different people have led the show over the years, it continues to have a strong team of writers and familiar faces. Don’t miss the new episodes premiering on Sunday, September 28th.

This nine-episode Korean historical drama, ‘Takryu’, is set in the Joseon era and centers on the conflicts arising along important trade routes.
