Pokémon Legends Z-A: All evolution stone locations

Legends: Z-A has many Pokémon that evolve using evolution stones. You can find a complete list of these Pokémon at the provided link. However, before you start evolving, you need to actually find the stones themselves! While the stone emporium eventually sells all of them, some aren’t available until after you finish the main story. If you want to evolve certain cool Pokémon early, you’ll need to know where to locate these stones.

This guide will show you exactly where to find all the Evolution Stones in Pokémon Legends Z-A.

Fire Stone location

The Fire Stone is purchasable from the Stone Emporium from the start of the game.

Water Stone location

The Water Stone is purchasable from the Stone Emporium from the start of the game.

Leaf Stone location

The Leaf Stone is purchasable from the Stone Emporium from the start of the game.

Thunder Stone location

The Thunder Stone is purchasable from the Stone Emporium from the start of the game.

Ice Stone location

You can find the Ice Stone on the roof of the long shopping plaza in Rogue Sector 4. It appears on the southeastern side of the roof, which is northwest of Wild Zone 3.

It will be added to the Stone Emporium’s stock once you’ve completed Main Mission #39.

Dusk Stone location

You can find the Dusk Stone in one of two locations. One is on a street corner near Quasartico Inc. and the Magenta Pokémon Center, which is a little northeast of Magenta Sector 8.

The second is on a rooftop along the South Boulevard, just south of Restaurant Le Nah.

It will be added to the Stone Emporium’s stock once you’ve completed Main Mission #39.

Dawn Stone location

You can find Dawn Stones in two places. The first is in the Rouge Sector 1. From the Pokémon Center, head across and look for a small opening blocked by rocks – you’ll need to break them to get through. Once you do, climb the scaffolding to find the stone.

The other one is located directly across the street in Rouge Sector 2, on top of the shopping plaza. You’ll find it hidden in a small area to the north of the large glass dome, leaning against a wall with a ladder nearby.

It will be added to the Stone Emporium’s stock once you’ve completed Main Mission #39.

Shiny Stone location

Okay, so finding a Shiny Stone can be a little tricky, but I figured it out! There are two places to look, and this one in Magenta Sector 3 is kinda hidden. You start at Café Gallant and then go west to find an elevator that takes you up onto the rooftops. From there, you just follow the rooftops around – there’s a bridge you’ll need to cross over the street. Once you cross, you’ll find the building with a little courtyard you can drop down into, and that’s where the Shiny Stone spawns!

The second Shiny Stone is located in the Vert Sector, tucked behind some houses on South Boulevard, a bit northeast of Racine Construction. Look for a single building across from some scaffolding – you can climb it, and the Shiny Stone is hidden behind the chimney.

It will be added to the Stone Emporium’s stock once you’ve completed Main Mission #39.

Moon Stone location

You can find the Moon Stone in two places, and one is in Magenta Sector 3. Begin at the same spot you used to find the first Shiny Stone and follow the same route. On the first line of rooftops, look for the Moon Stone right in front of a chimney.

The second Moon Stone is located in Rouge Sector 7. Find the building shaped like a keyhole and climb up its south side. In the corner, you’ll see some thorny bushes. You can clear these with a cutting attack or a fire-type move, which will allow you to reach the Moon Stone.

It will be added to the Stone Emporium’s stock once you’ve completed Main Mission #39.

Sun Stone location

You can find the Sun Stone in the Bleu Sector 4 area. To get there, take the elevator on Estival Avenue to the rooftop. Once you’re up there, turn left and climb the ladder. Then, turn right and jump down to the next rooftop. The Sun Stone is located near a glowing marker in the corner.
