‘Drag Race’ Expands: Mexico Gets New Spin-Off as Philippines Returns for Season 4

WOW Presents Plus is bringing more Drag Race to fans with a new show and the return of a popular series from the international Drag Race family.

Okay, so I just got a sneak peek at what’s coming with *Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale*, and it’s exciting! It’s using the same format as *Drag Race Philippines*, which pits queens against each other from all over the world. Basically, they’re bringing together amazing Latin Drag Race queens from different countries to compete for the ultimate title – a truly global crown. I think this is a fantastic way to showcase Latinx talent on a huge stage!

WOW Presents Plus has announced a fourth season of Drag Race Philippines, in addition to a new version of the show set in Mexico. Fans can look forward to both shows debuting next year, with anticipation building for 2026.

Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, the executive producers and co-founders of World of Wonder, expressed their excitement about the new show, stating that they are proud to showcase the diverse cultures of drag and celebrate Latin American talent with *Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale*.

Before the new season of Drag Race Mexico begins, a special episode called Drag Race Mexico Rewind will air in December. It will feature the best moments from past seasons and get fans excited for the premiere with Latina Royale.

As a longtime viewer, I’ve been following RuPaul’s Drag Race since its very beginning. It all started back in 2009, when World of Wonder launched the very first season of what would become a massive franchise. It’s amazing to see how much it’s grown from those early days!

The show has become incredibly popular around the world, with versions now produced in countries like the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Spain. It’s become a celebration of drag artistry globally, showcasing talented local performers and building a worldwide community of both artists and fans.

While the judges and contestants for Drag Race Mexico, hosted by Latina Royale, haven’t been announced, viewers can anticipate the same blend of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent that defines the Drag Race franchise when the show premieres.

Drag Race has become a huge part of popular culture, leading to music, live shows, lots of merchandise, and new versions of the show featuring drag queens from different countries. With upcoming seasons in Mexico and the Philippines, World of Wonder is bringing drag artistry to even more people around the world.
