Total War: Warhammer 3 – Tides of Torment release date delayed once again

Creative Assembly has announced that the *Total War: Warhammer 3 – Tides of Torment* DLC will launch on December 4, 2025, for PC. This release date marks another delay for the expansion. Alongside the DLC, Update 7.0 will be released, bringing significant improvements to the Daemons of Slaanesh, Norsca, and High Elves factions. This update will also include a new Total War Mod Manager.

Look, I get it – this has been super frustrating, and honestly, it’s been a rough year for the devs too. Creative Assembly said they really don’t want to keep making the same mistakes they’ve made before, and I’m glad to hear them say that.

So, the team is saying that ‘Tides of Torment’ is getting a bit of a delay, but it’s a good thing! They want to make sure everything is polished and awesome when it finally drops. They’re using the extra time to really refine Game Update 7.0, and that means ‘Tides of Torment’ will be even better because of it. Basically, they’re prioritizing quality over rushing it out the door, and as a gamer, I totally appreciate that!

CA will begin revealing gameplay for Tides of Torment on November 6, 2025.

Tides of Torment will launch on the same day as a major Total War presentation, where Creative Assembly will announce their upcoming Total War titles. December 4th promises to be a big day for fans of the series.

As a big Total War: Warhammer 3 fan, I was pretty frustrated when the Steam reviews started turning negative recently. It was mainly because the AI was acting up and the developers hadn’t fixed it yet. Luckily, they released a hotfix earlier this week that seems to have solved the biggest problem, though there are still a few smaller things they’re working on. Hopefully, they’ll get those sorted out soon!
