EA and DICE are getting ready to release Battlefield 6 Season 1, and they just released a small update to improve things behind the scenes. Even while preparing for the launch, the developers are still listening to player feedback and fixing the most important issues.
Because Conquest games often finish when the time runs out rather than one team losing all their tickets—a less exciting outcome—EA has lowered the number of tickets needed to win on all Conquest maps.
- Siege of Cairo from 1000 to 900
- Empire State from 1000 to 900
- Iberian Offensive from 1000 to 900
- Liberation Peak From 1000 to 800
- Manhattan Bridge From 1000 to 800
- Operation Firestorm From 1000 to 700
- New Sobek City from 1000 to 900
- Mirak Valley from 1000 to 700
The Manhattan Bridge map received a minor update for both Conquest and Escalation modes. Players were struggling to stay within the map boundaries while using flying vehicles, so the developers have doubled the time allowed before being penalized for going out of bounds – from five to ten seconds. This change is likely to reignite discussions among players about wanting larger maps.
