Square Enix is bringing Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy to iOS and Android devices in 2026 as a free-to-play game. Players in the United States, China, and Japan can sign up for a closed beta test running from November 7th to 14th, 2025, through the official website.
This game takes place in present-day Tokyo, where mysterious crystals and monsters have suddenly appeared. Luckily, heroes from the Final Fantasy universe are stepping up to protect the city! These characters are divided into four distinct classes: those who attack from a distance (Ranged), close-combat fighters (Melee), those who provide assistance (Support), and fast, nimble characters (Agile).
Players can unlock and buy new, modern outfits for their characters, plus classic cutscenes and music from the series to personalize their gameplay. The game is a 3v3 team battle where two players each control a team of three characters, competing to defeat boss characters as quickly as possible, according to Square Enix.
