Recent leaks indicate that the next Pokémon games, potentially the tenth generation, could be called *Pokémon Wind* and *Pokémon Waves*.

Online rumors suggest these games will be released only on the next Nintendo Switch, similar to how information about past Pokémon games was leaked previously.

The upcoming games are believed to take place in Southeast Asia, initially inspired by Indonesia. Game director Shigeru Ohmori shared supporting documents in 2021, confirming this location and debunking previous speculation about a Greek setting. The overall theme, “Infinity,” suggests the games will emphasize continuous discovery and development.

One of the new battle mechanics is called Tenko-Waza, which could be translated to Weather Moves.

The game will feature a new, baby Pokémon called a Seed Pokémon, which can be found at resort locations. Leaks indicate that its evolved form will appear for the first time and will have countless different appearances when players reach the island of the main legendary Pokémon.

The story centers around a 13-year-old from Kuala Lumpur whose life changes when their mother wins the lottery. They go on vacation, where they meet a local kid who quickly becomes a friendly rival. This new friend is really into Pokémon and knows a lot about the natural world. The main character’s mom is 33, works from home, and is enjoying a much-needed break from work on the vacation.

The story centers around a 75-year-old hotel chairman who owns resorts across the country. He initially dreamed of building resorts where people and Pokémon could live harmoniously with nature. However, a personal loss connected to Pokémon led him to focus solely on rapid and extensive development.

The man’s teenage son, possibly his stepson or adopted child, looks up to him but is still quite inexperienced. Meanwhile, a ruthless group called the Land Development Team is focused solely on making money, and they’re destroying the environment without any concern for what’s right.

The story features a 21-year-old professor nicknamed the “Survival Professor.” He researches Pokémon that transform into representations of different weather patterns, but surprisingly, he isn’t very skilled at actual survival despite his extensive book knowledge.

The game starts in a bustling city, with players beginning at a resort hotel that acts as a central hub, similar to a lobby in online multiplayer games. From there, you’ll see other players, team up, and accept missions. Core gameplay will involve surviving in the jungle, discovering underwater locations, and riding Pokémon.

These games emphasize the connection between people, Pokémon, and the natural world, and delve into ideas about raising a family and the future we create for those who come after us.

Recent leaks have unveiled two legendary Pokémon: one is an old man who uses wind to guide people and Pokémon, and the other is an old woman who guides with the power of waves. Both Pokémon will only acknowledge trainers who have demonstrated skill in breeding and raising Pokémon.
