STRANGER THINGS 5: Volume One Runtimes Confirmed

With the fifth and final season of *Stranger Things* almost here—after nearly ten years of production—the Duffer Brothers have announced how long the first part of the season will be.

Ross Duffer, one of the show’s creators, shared the episode lengths for the upcoming season on Instagram, simply stating, “ACTUAL runtimes.” As many fans predicted, it appears season five will be a very long and epic conclusion to the series.

The first volume of the series arrives on Netflix on November 26th. Here’s how long the initial episodes are: “Chapter One: The Crawl” is 1 hour and 8 minutes long, “Chapter Two: The Vanishing of…” is 54 minutes, “Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap” runs for 1 hour and 6 minutes, and “Chapter Four: Sorcerer” is 1 hour and 23 minutes. That’s a big premiere, and we’re definitely excited!

We don’t yet know how long the remaining episodes will be, but knowing the creators, the Duffer Brothers, we can expect to find out soon. Volume Two, containing episodes five, six, and seven, will be released on December 25th. The eighth and final episode, which will conclude the series, will be available on December 31st.

Back in August, the Duffers teased additional details for the first four episodes on social media.

Ross Duffer announced on Instagram that filming for Chapters Three and Four of Volume One is complete, describing the process with words like ‘locked,’ ‘mixed,’ ‘scored,’ and ‘colored.’ He also teased that Chapter Four will be particularly large in scale.

He said the final season will be the biggest one yet. With more details coming out, it’s clear that *Stranger Things 5* is going to be packed with action. The creators, the Duffer brothers, have our full attention – we’re excited for it!
