At New York Comic Con, Marvel unveiled the first trailer for Season 2 of *Daredevil: Born Again*, giving fans their initial glimpse of the upcoming season.
Charlie Cox is reprising his role as Daredevil, and Krysten Ritter is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe again as Jessica Jones. Fans can expect the new season to arrive on Disney+ in March 2026.
The trailer shocked fans by bringing back Jessica Jones, the character from the popular Netflix series and the team-up show *The Defenders*.
Matt Murdock and Karen Page shared a romantic moment, kissing and dancing. The villain Mr. Charles was introduced, played by Matthew Lillard, and Jessica Jones had a scene with Foggy Nelson, who has returned. Meanwhile, we saw Kingpin both boxing and overseeing a secret prison, and Bullseye surprisingly enjoyed a vanilla milkshake with a cherry.
I just finished watching the first season of *Daredevil: Born Again* on Disney+, and it was great to see so many familiar faces from the original Netflix series return! Charlie Cox is fantastic, of course – he’s really settled into the role of Daredevil, and we’ve already seen him reprise it in projects like *Spider-Man: No Way Home*, *She-Hulk: Attorney at Law*, and *Echo*. He definitely carries the show.
The first season centered on the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, who successfully ran for mayor of New York City. Matt’s friends, Foggy Nelson and Karen Page (played by Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll, respectively), were also back. However, the season began with a shocking twist: Bullseye, portrayed by Wilson Bethel, killed Foggy, causing Matt to fall into a deep depression and abandon his Daredevil identity.
Krysten Ritter will be back as Jessica Jones for Season 2, and Matthew Lillard, known for his work in horror films, is also joining the show. Netflix has already ordered a third season, meaning the series will continue beyond the upcoming one.
Margarita Levieva, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, and Ayelet Zurer are also back for the new season. Jon Bernthal reprises his role as the Punisher, marking the character’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’ll star in a dedicated TV special as the Punisher, and will also appear in next summer’s *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*.
Daredevil’s second season is back with both familiar faces and fresh characters, and it’s set to deliver even more exciting action, intense drama, and unexpected twists for its viewers.
