The first trailer for season four of ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ is out now, and it shows Jeremy Renner’s character, Mike McLusky, dealing with fresh challenges as he attempts to maintain order in the town.
In the upcoming season, Mike will be struggling to keep his loved ones safe as powerful and threatening elements arrive in Kingstown.
As a huge fan of the show, I was totally gripped by the latest trailer! Mike gives Kyle – Taylor Handley’s character, who looks like he’s about to start a prison sentence after the events of season three – some seriously chilling advice. Basically, Mike warns him that the only safe place will be his cell, and to be wary of *everyone*. He stresses to trust no one unless Mike specifically gives the okay, and ominously adds that someone will definitely be coming after him. It’s a really tense moment and sets up a lot of drama for the new season!

Season four will center around Mike trying to stay in charge as others attempt to seize the power that was lost when the Russians were defeated.
The balance of power in Kingstown is shifting as new groups try to take control after the Russians left, forcing Mike to deal with a growing gang war and prevent them from taking over. At the same time, with his loved ones facing increased danger, Mike has to navigate a challenging relationship with the new prison warden and confront issues from his past.
The show features Edie Falco, Lennie James, Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Nishi Munshi in starring roles. Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series’ creators, are executive producers alongside Michelle Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, Christoph Schrewe, Wendy Riss, Evan Perazzo, and Keith Cox. Dave Erickson is also responsible for overseeing the show as showrunner.
Mayor of Kingstown season four will premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, October 26.
