Even after pulling off the incredibly successful heist in “Ocean’s Eleven,” Danny Ocean and his team still needed Warner Bros. to approve funding for a new movie. George Clooney has announced that the studio has given the go-ahead for “Ocean’s Fourteen,” and filming is expected to begin in about nine to ten months.

George Clooney recently shared with E! News that *Ocean’s Fourteen* is officially in the works and will be filmed soon. He confirmed Warner Bros. has approved the budget, which is a crucial first step. Now, the team faces the challenge of coordinating schedules, especially with so many major stars involved – many of whom, Clooney confirmed, will be returning for the sequel. He expressed his enthusiasm about working again with Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Don Cheadle.
Despite some challenges with the production schedule, the director anticipates filming will start in about nine to ten months. He didn’t mention which other people would be working on the film, though the crew will number 14. Since the last *Ocean’s* movie in 2007, two cast members from the original *Ocean’s Eleven* have passed away: Bernie Mac, who died in 2008, and Carl Reiner, who passed away in 2020. Some or all of the team who worked on the spin-off *Ocean’s 8* may also be involved in *Ocean’s Fourteen*.
I couldn’t believe it when they *killed* Danny Ocean in that last movie! His sister, Debbie, played by Sandra Bullock, didn’t buy it for a second, and honestly, neither did I. Turns out, my gut feeling was right! Warner Bros. has just given the green light to bring Danny back to life – I’m so excited to see how they pull that off!
