Lots of people enjoy the fun and magic of Disney, and many visit the parks when they can. However, Disney trips can be expensive. Just this Wednesday, Disneyland and Walt Disney World announced that some tickets and annual passes will now cost more.
Relax, there’s no need to be alarmed. Many ticket prices will stay the same, so you can still find affordable ways to enjoy Disney parks. Read on to learn which prices are being updated.

A Breakdown of the Disney Park Price Changes
Ticket prices are increasing at both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. Here’s a breakdown of the changes for single-day tickets at Disneyland.
Disneyland hasn’t increased the price of its cheapest ticket, which has remained at $104 since 2019. However, the most expensive ticket option has gone up from $206 to $224. Disney ticket prices vary depending on how crowded the park is expected to be on a particular day – popular times like Christmas and New Year’s fall into the highest price tier. For the week of Thanksgiving, and from December 20th through January 3rd, the highest-tier tickets will cost $224.
Increases in tiers two through five ranged from 1.5 to 4.9 percent, a smaller rise than the 5.9 to 6.5 percent increase seen last year.
Disneyland is increasing prices for some of its annual passes. The two most expensive passes, Inspire and Believe Magic Key, will now cost $1,899 and $1,474 respectively – increases of $150 and $100. The prices of the Enchant and Imagine Key passes will remain unchanged.

Disney World Faces Similar Price Hikes
Ticket prices for single-day visits to Walt Disney World in November and December 2026 have increased slightly, going from $199 to over $200. Prices on the busiest days are expected to reach around $209 per ticket.
If you’re planning a park visit soon, you’ll be happy to know that the cheapest and most expensive tickets will stay at $119 and $199 until October 2026. This gives you some time to enjoy the park before prices go up. However, tickets in the middle price ranges have already increased by about $5 on average.
As a huge Disney fan, I was pretty shocked to see how much the annual pass prices have gone up! They used to range from just $20 to $80 for all the different pass levels, but now they’ve jumped quite a bit. And to top it off, parking is now $5 more expensive too. It’s getting pricey to visit the most magical place on earth!

Here Are More Ways to Save Despite Disney Price Hikes
Let’s talk about saving money despite the price increases. Good news is, Disney World’s least and most expensive ticket options won’t change in price until October 2026. So, if you book your trip before then, you can avoid the higher costs.
If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland, you still have 32 days within the next six months where the cheapest tickets are available for just $104. Plus, California residents can now purchase a new 3-Day Park Hopper ticket for visits between January 1 and May 21, 2026, for only $249 – a 50% discount! Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World also offer special discounts if you book a stay at one of their hotels.
Here’s what a Disney representative said in a statement about the recent price hikes:
As a huge Disney Parks fan, what I love is that there’s something for everyone, no matter how you like to do Disney! They really try to make it work for all budgets and preferences with how they offer tickets, hotels, and places to eat. But the best part, and something I truly believe, is that Disney is still dedicated to creating those unforgettable, magical moments for every single guest – and they always will be.
