We’re excited to share a new poster for *Predator: Badlands*, along with an official description of the movie from Twentieth Century Studios to go with the trailer.
The futuristic action film *Badlands* takes place on a dangerous, faraway planet. It centers on a young Predator who has been exiled from his people (played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi). He teams up with Thia (Elle Fanning, known for her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations) and together they face a difficult and risky quest to find a powerful enemy.
Okay, so the new trailer dropped, and it looks wild! They’re sending a young Predator – this actor, Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi – to what they’re calling the most dangerous planet *ever*. Seriously, everything on this planet seems designed to kill you – the plants, the animals, the whole ecosystem is hostile. It’s clear we’re going to see a ton of new alien creatures in this movie, which is awesome. But here’s the really cool part: there’s a Weyland-Yutani android wandering around out there too, looking pretty beat up. This officially connects the *Predator* universe with the *Alien* movies again, which is fantastic news after they basically erased those *AvP* crossovers from canon.
It’s going to be fascinating to see how this new film fits into the overall *Alien* story, or if it connects to Noah Hawley’s *Alien: Earth*. The powerful Weyland-Yutani corporation is central to that series, and we spot other artificial beings and even a machine very similar to the loader Ripley used in *Aliens*. Beyond those nods to the franchise, *Badlands* appears to be everything fans could hope for in a *Predator* movie.

Predator: Badlands arrives in theaters everywhere on November 7.
