Hailee Steinfeld Reacts to Marvel ‘Champions’ Rumor, Talks Avengers, Spider-Verse & Josh Allen

Hailee Steinfeld has responded to those Marvel “Champions” rumors making the rounds.

When questioned about the puzzling IMDb entry and what the future holds for Kate Bishop within the MCU, Steinfeld neither confirmed nor denied the information. She remained deliberately ambiguous.

What did Hailee Steinfeld say about Champions?

“I noticed that! Are you saying that just anyone can now change information on IMDb?” she playfully asked Variety. “I was honestly wondering if it was just a random person adding things, or if whoever did it actually knew what they were doing.”

While Steinfeld kept things vague, she made it clear she’s still on standby for Marvel.

“I’m constantly hoping for a call from them. I truly cherish that family and feel lucky to be included. They can always count on me whenever they need help,” she explained.

Hailee Steinfeld has likely confirmed Kate Bishop will be back in the upcoming Avengers movie. This comes after a video surfaced from the Sinners premiere in Mexico. In the video, Steinfeld nodded in agreement when asked if she would be in the film.

Whether there will be a season 2 of Hawkeye is currently uncertain. However, Jeremy Renner recently mentioned he’d be willing to come back if a second season were to happen.

Voicing Gwen Stacy in Spider-Verse

So, I was reading an interview with Hailee Steinfeld, and she dropped some news about Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Apparently, she’s coming back to voice Gwen Stacy, which is awesome! She gave a little update on how things are going with the movie, and as a huge fan, I’m really excited to hear more.

“We’re really invested in the project. It makes me think if any unused material exists, since I’ve delivered the name ‘Miles’ with so many varied inflections and emotions-they likely have a comprehensive archive of takes,” she explained.

She explained that recording isn’t a fixed process; it’s always changing. As she put it, “You don’t receive the complete script beforehand. It develops over time, and that’s what makes being involved so exciting and enjoyable.”

Life With Josh Allen

Steinfeld also discussed her marriage to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. She described it as a transition that has been both challenging and fulfilling. She jokingly mentioned that “his nose is good” after Allen took a hit to the face during the game against the Jets.

Our lives are quite unpredictable, and his work follows a very rigid schedule. So, it’s actually a good thing – I make an effort to plan my time so I can join him whenever possible,” she said.

Steinfeld explained, “During this time of year, I like to relax, take things easier, and be there for him, just enjoying life. But when the offseason begins, that’s when I really get to work.”

She added that being with Allen has helped her appreciate life outside of work:

This is a completely new phase of life for me – experiencing things outside of my career. I’ve really improved in recognizing the importance of taking things slower and being able to enjoy that with another person. That’s the most wonderful feeling.
