‘The Sisters Grimm’ (2025– )
Based on the popular novels by Michael Buckley, ‘The Sisters Grimm’ tells the story of Sabrina and Daphne. They arrive in a town where fairytale characters live among everyday people, and the sisters are also trying to find their parents. The show’s voice actors include Ariel Winter as Sabrina, Leah Newman as Daphne, Laraine Newman as Relda, Abubakar Salim as Charming, Billy Harris as Puck, and Harry Trevaldwyn as Mirror.
Developed by Amy Higgins as showrunner alongside Erica Rothschild, the series is animated by Titmouse. Apple notes that the first season consists of six episodes and adapts the books’ mystery and adventure elements for families. Apple Studios oversaw production.
‘The Studio’ (2025– )
‘The Studio’ takes you behind the scenes at a big Hollywood studio, showing how the people in charge – both executives and creative talents – work to get projects made despite problems with development, difficult actors, and issues during filming. Seth Rogen heads a cast that also features Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders.
Created by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, the series is a production of Apple Studios and Point Grey Pictures. Rogen and Goldberg also directed the first season, and the writing team – led by the creators themselves – aimed to realistically portray the atmosphere and details of working in a movie studio.
‘Chief of War’ (2025)
‘Chief of War’ tells the story of how the Hawaiian Islands came together as one, showing the conflicts, partnerships, and fight for freedom from the point of view of the Native Hawaiian people. Jason Momoa plays the main character, and Luciane Buchanan is among the key actors, portraying people based on real figures from Hawaiian history in the late 1700s and early 1800s.
This limited series was brought to life by Jason Momoa and Thomas Paʻa Sibbett. It’s produced by Apple Studios, with Francis Lawrence and Tim Van Patten serving as executive producers. The episodes were directed by a team of filmmakers who prioritized historical accuracy and cultural detail.
‘Platonic’ (2023– )
‘Platonic’ follows Sylvia and Will-played by Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen-as they reconnect after years apart. These former best friends develop a close, but purely platonic, friendship which begins to complicate their lives, impacting both their families and careers. The show also stars Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, and Carla Gallo.
The series was created by Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, and is a production of Sony Pictures Television and Stoller Global Solutions, in partnership with Apple TV+. Nicholas Stoller directed all episodes, while both Delbanco and Stoller were in charge of writing the series.
‘The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy’ (2023– )
‘The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy’ documents Eugene Levy’s journeys to various places around the globe. He steps outside of his usual routine to experience hotels, local traditions, and exciting outdoor activities. Each episode focuses on a specific location, and Levy provides commentary throughout, connecting all the experiences together.
Created by Twofour for Apple TV+, the series credits Eugene Levy, David Brindley, Nic Patten, Sara Brailsford, Iain Peckham, and Lily Fitzpatrick as its executive producers. The production team builds each episode using knowledgeable guides and planned segments to make travel stories easy to follow and enjoy.
‘Severance’ (2022– )
‘Severance’ is a suspenseful thriller set in the world of Lumon Industries, where employees choose to have a procedure done that divides their memories of work and their personal lives. The show features a talented cast including Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, and Christopher Walken.
The series was created by Dan Erickson and features Ben Stiller as an executive producer and director, with Aoife McArdle directing several important episodes. It’s a production of Fifth Season and Red Hour, in association with Apple, and the writers and producers have crafted a complex, ongoing story centered around the mysterious activities at Lumon.
‘Slow Horses’ (2022– )
‘Slow Horses’ centers on the agents who work at Slough House, essentially a department where MI5 sends agents they don’t quite know what to do with. The division is led by the grumpy Jackson Lamb, portrayed by Gary Oldman, and features River Cartwright, played by Jack Lowden. The cast also includes Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, and features regular appearances by Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, and other talented actors.
The television series is inspired by Mick Herron’s ‘Slough House’ novels. It was created for Apple TV+ by writer Will Smith and produced by See-Saw Films. Each season of the show is based on one of the books, with episodes directed by filmmakers like James Hawes and Jeremy Lovering. The writers have adapted Herron’s original stories to fit the format of a television series.
‘Invasion’ (2021– )
As a huge movie fan, I’m really intrigued by ‘Invasion’. It’s told from multiple perspectives – we see how ordinary families, the brave first responders, and even officials are all dealing with the very first moments of an alien invasion as it happens. The cast is fantastic too – I’m excited to see performances from Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, and the legendary Sam Neill.
The series was created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, and is a production of Genre Films and Apple Studios. Several directors have worked on the show across its seasons, including Jakob Verbruggen, among others. Kinberg and Weil also led the writing team, skillfully combining compelling character development with impressive, large-scale action.
‘Foundation’ (2021– )
Taking inspiration from Isaac Asimov’s novels, ‘Foundation’ centers on the work of Hari Seldon, a mathematician, and his psychohistory-a plan spanning centuries to lessen a coming period of galactic decline. Jared Harris plays Seldon, while Lee Pace embodies Galactic Emperor Brother Day. Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey portray important characters, Gaal Dornick and Salvor Hardin, respectively.

The show also features Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison, a network executive, and Mark Duplass as producer Chip Black, and has added several well-known actors in later seasons.
The series was created by Jay Carson and developed by Kerry Ehrin. It’s a production of Media Res and Hello Sunshine for Apple TV+. Key episodes were directed by Mimi Leder, and Kerry Ehrin and Charlotte Stoudt shared showrunning responsibilities throughout the series’ different seasons.
