AEW and DC Comics are teaming up for a big crossover event! This will feature AEW wrestlers alongside the Justice League in a two-part comic book series. A first look will be available at New York Comic Con this October.
AEW Enters the DC Universe
This 48-page comic book is written by Steve Orlando, illustrated by Travis Mercer, and features cover art by Lucas Meyer. The story brings together stars from AEW – including Mercedes Moné, Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, Orange Cassidy, and Kenny Omega – with iconic DC characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Nightwing, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Harley Quinn, and Green Lanterns Guy Gardner and John Stewart.
Together, they set out to recover the Big Galactic Belt before it sparks a cosmic catastrophe.
NYCC Events
Attendees will be among the first to see the partnership between AEW and DC Comics at two events during New York Comic Con:
- Friday, October 10 at 5 p.m. ET (Room 409): AEW CEO Tony Khan joins Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, Steve Orlando, and Travis Mercer for a panel on wrestling and comic storytelling.
- Saturday, October 11 at 3 p.m. ET (DC Comics Booth #4365): AEW talent and DC creators will sign the limited-edition preview comic. Wristbands for the signing will be available Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET.
Cross-Promotion Across Platforms
This collaboration isn’t limited to just comic books. DC’s DC K.O. event, created by Scott Snyder and Javier Fernandez, will be featured on AEW shows airing on TBS and TNT. In return, DC Comics will be the main sponsor for AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view event.
Special variant covers for DC K.O. will be available, showcasing wrestlers from AEW battling DC superheroes.
Full Gear Presented by DC Comics
The collaboration will culminate with AEW Full Gear, a live event taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Viewers in the U.S. can watch the event on HBO Max.
The two-part DC x AEW comic book will be available to fans in 2026 at local comic stores, the ShopAEW.com website, and at certain AEW live shows.
