I was really excited for A Quiet Place Part III, and it sounds like Paramount is making a smart move! They’ve decided to push back its release date. I think this will be good for the film, giving it some space away from the release of James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow, the new Superman movie. It’s great that they’re giving both films a chance to really shine without competing directly with each other.
New Release Date
Originally scheduled for July 9, 2027, A Quiet Place Part III will now hit theaters July 30, 2027.
I’m really glad they’ve moved the release date for the new A Quiet Place Part III! It means it won’t be going head-to-head with Man of Tomorrow, which comes out on July 9. Now, A Quiet Place Part III gets July all to itself, which is awesome. I think this is a smart move – it gives both films a better chance to shine!

Superman Sequel Competition
The Superman reboot directed by James Gunn came out this past summer and earned $615.78 million worldwide.
Warner Bros. promptly scheduled a follow-up film, Man of Tomorrow, for release in July 2027. This new release date means Paramount can now avoid a head-to-head competition with another major franchise.

A Quiet Place Box Office History
The A Quiet Place films have been steady performers for Paramount:
- A Quiet Place Part II (2020) earned nearly $300 million worldwide.
- A Quiet Place: Day One (2024) made $261.9 million globally.
Paramount hopes Part III will continue the winning streak, avoiding a direct competition with a Superman film.
Who’s Behind Part III
John Krasinski returns as director, writer, and producer for A Quiet Place Part III.
This movie is the latest installment in Paramount’s horror-thriller series, a franchise that has consistently done well for the studio ever since the original film was released in 2018.
